Remo Tucked Nuskyn Conga Drumhead, 12.50"

I originally purchased the Remo Skyndeep Conga head for my Quinto but I did not like the high pitched overtones. Even though it was my first foray into synthetic heads, I decided to give this one a shot. I'm glad I did!Firstly, It was snug getting it onto the rim of my Comfort Curve II LP Classic, so before buying I highly recommend checking on Remo's website to confirm that the head will fit with your drum.The tuning was easy and quick, the heads seem to naturally rest right in tune without any drop in tuning! Which is amazing!Onto the most important part, the sound.. I love the sound of these heads!!! Its warm, full bodied, projects well and has a very very close sound to natural heads. Furthermore, they feel soft on your hands, not rough like the cow hide skins I had on previously. This means, you can play longer and more comfortably!In addition, it was shipped fast and packaged well. I liked it so much I bought the 11.75" head for my Conga as well!

after lots of experimenting with baffling and sound deadening i finally got this drum to sound acceptable to me...the Remo rep suggested this Nuskyn with the Tucked technology as their head that is closest to animal skin in sound...at home i tuck my own American Bison skins, they are the best IMHO...but for gigging i think this will work OK...

Buena calidad

Fantastic quality alternative to animal skin. Feels smooth and easy to play. Offers nice crisp slaps and full base notes. Different to Fiberskyn (which I have on my bongos). Nuskyn is more like actual animal skin I would say. Fitted well on my Tycoon Conga. I recommend reading the size guide online to make sure you're buying the right type and size of drum head for your make and model of conga. An around great product by Remo.

Excellent fit ! Sounded great.

I have the complete set of LP Matadors Quinto, Conga, and the Tumba. The Quinto had an Evans Tri-center head. The other two had rawhide. Did some research on the synthetic heads and Remo had a lot of good reviews over the Evans. So replace all heads with Remo nuskyn and love the sound these heads produce. They have a warm sound like the natural rawhide but with added volume and easy on the hands. If you're looking into synthetic heads you can't go wrong with the Remo nuskyn. Oh the price here on Amazon is the best

Me gusta el sonido que tiene este parches. Es de un buen Material. Lo único que tuve que hacerle unas modificaciones. El diámetro no encaja perfectamente en 11. Si no que es 11 y un poco más.
