There is essentially zero difference in the efficacy & duration of action between the expensive comparable name brands and this. The box says to compare it to the Advantage II equivalent, which I have experience with. While the ingredients and all seem identical and likely are identical, it genuinely seemed to me that not only did this brand work just as well and as fast as Advantage II, it seemed to last slightly longer (I doubt there was a noteable difference if there was a difference at all). Bottom line is that you are essentially getting the most respected, best performing, highest quality topical flea treatment for cats on the market for half the price. If you liked Advantage II & it worked well for you, I couldn't recommend the desertcart Basics equivalent more. Application is so quick and easy that it takes literal seconds and can be completed before your cat has a chance to realize something is going on. This product doesn't gradually eliminate fleas, it eradicates them with a vengeance and aggression. Once it begins working, a layer of dead fleas will be left behind any place your cat stays for more than a short moment. The efficacy is legitimately impressive.
