Can't beat Big K charcoal for flavour and IMHO this 10kg bag is the best value for money size of bag to go for. The Woodies are great, all natural, no odour fire starters as well. Both work great every time in my starter chimney.

not ideal for low and slow as most of the pieces are tiny. would be good in a small pizza oven or standard bbq where airflow not a major issue.

I have tried different kinds of charcoal for our Big Green Egg and this one was the worst. A lot of small pieces of charcoal, some really large ones that were hard to break up. Took at least 20 minutes for the grill to be ready for cooking, often times longer. Other brands get there in 10 to 15 minutes.
