Q: Does the switch light up when in the on position?

Yes, the switch light up when in the on position.

Q: why does both of the sets i bought.The light does not come on the switch.But my new fog lights work

Probably fuse blown I bought these and they were so sensitive

Q: So the ACC red wire connects to the battery as well?

There are 2 red wires that need to be connected. The red wire with a battery lug gets connected to the + battery post. This one provides power to your actual lights. The other red wire (the one with no lug, the ACC wire) should be tapped into the + lead going to your headlight or anything else that only comes on when the key is turned on. This wire powers the relay switch, so it ensures your lights can only be switched on when the vehicle is going to be running (and will always be off when the key is switched off). That way, you don't forget to to turn your lights off and drain your battery. If you choose, you can hook this up to your battery directly too, but you run that risk of draining your battery and you have to turn your lights off at the supplied switch every time you use them. I recommend getting a Posi-Tap for 16 AWG wire and hooking that wire into your low beam + wire, takes less than a minute. Hope this helps!
