It does what it says on the package and in the description also says that contains no Additives and its fee From Heavy Metals. I've been using it in a while on my toothpaste with no problems whatsoever

What quantity should i use in 1 pint of water

NO pint needed. You only need to activate it with a little warm water, wait 15 minutes and then spoon feed it or, if you don’t like the thickness add a little more water and knock it back that way. Hope this helps

How do we use this as a drink?

Put a tablespoon full in a glass then fill it up with water to the top stirring all the time then drink immediately .Very important to then again drink a large glass of water to flush it through

How to recycle the packaging? I sadly found out the paper is lined with plastic (not good!). Does it go in the plastic recycling bin?

I had not thought about that. Have not repurchased this item. Prefer Aztec Bentonite clay, which is in a tub but this was out of stock, also the price has shot up.
