CD LCS MKII

Looks great! Works great! Only real complaint is that it's a bit clumsy to install. Fumbling to align about six pieces together to install. (The five pictured, plus your cable.) But, once installed... It's very sturdy, and as an added bonus, it does cable management, too! One of those 'set it and forget it' type of things. It does raise the tapeswitch slightly more off the rail than the OEM rubber adapters, but it can make for a good indexing point for your support grip, as well. Suggestion: Stage it on your handguard first, to see how you like its positioning, before completely tightening it down.

Yeah, it's costs, but it will mount your tac light switch solid, no duct tape, cable ties, safety wire, just rock solid mounted and the cable is pretty controlled too. I'm happy.

This is a great mount for any light remote. It was easy to install and keeps the remote in place no matter what. Great product.

I have these on 3 different uppers. The Streamlight ProTac HL-X light is pretty good. Of course the tape switch mounted is the weak point for anything but light use. So adding this Cloud Defensive LCS Mk2 is the only thing that makes sense to me. I have a ProTac HL-X light on two of my HD ARs, so naturally I have to have an LCS MK2 protecting each tape switch. Update: 2022 I now have 3 MKII mounts

This thing feels absolutely rock solid. The pass through channels do an excellent job of eliminating the cable mess all around the barrel. It seems straightforward in a “I don’t need the instructions” kind of way, but had i lubed it up before putting the tape switch in (like it says to in the instructions), it would have saved me a lot of hassle. All in all, I’m very pleased with this, and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I have multiple rifles that have Streamlight Protac rail mount lights on them, and everyone one is paired with one of these Cloud Defensive LCS. Fit and finish is great! It allows me to mount the pressure pad on the top of the rail, allowing for strong and support handed shooting as well as providing cable management keeping the pressure pad cable tucked away nicely.

This clamp is quite a problem solver. I have a ProTac rail mount light in my patrol rifle and the tape switch was always sliding around in the included mounts. Also, the wire was long and flopped around waiting to get caught on something and break. I installed this mounting clamp and was able to lock the tape switch in place while also taking up excess wire for a sleek and secure look. Just wish it was more reasonably priced. $70+ for several ounces of anodized aluminum and two screws is quite overpriced in my mind.

Received the proper item/ No knock off. Fit the Streamlight HLX pressure pad & cable absolutely perfectly. No machining marks. Everything is a precise fit. Clear instructions provided for use. Built like a tank.
