I keep my house at 78 degrees, 24/7 but can't get a good nights sleep at this temp. this unit is life changing for me. I put it at 74 and sleep through the night. I'd like to keep it colder, but have to wait to see how much it increased my electric bill this month. I've had it for 2 weeks and wonder how I ever slept without it. I live in Houston where we are HUMID and are experiencing over 100 degrees each day., 80 at night. Tthis AC handles it just fine, and I got the smallest one since my bedroom is 210 sf. it took about 3 nights to get used to the increased noice, but it sounds like white noise to me. Works great. Use it every night for A/C. It is noisy, but I’d rather be comfortable while sleeping.

Horrible and unusable! We will be sending this one back! Hard to know if the Remote control worked well for a period of time or it was energy efficient. We couldn't leave it on for more than 10 minutes.

Has really helped cool our large bedroom with the hot temps and humidity this summer!

Very loud. My room is maybe 10x10 feet so it’s a pretty small room. Took me a couple of weeks to get used to it. The sound gave me headaches and I almost returned it. Only reason why I didn’t return it was because it’s heavy and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning. After a couple of weeks, it became ok. I don’t know if people in my meetings can hear it when it’s on… but they haven’t spoken about it to me either. So I think my computer has been able to remove the background noise just fine.

I had to get something to help with this heat. I'm using it in the LR area that is too large for 6000 BTU but this unit pumps out a lot of cold air. Had to really finagle the exhaust hose to vent it and unfortunately this particular window sill is about 4 feet off the floor. They do provide some foam weather stripping to seal it and I did not get a perfect fit but finished the job with duct tape. Came out okay. Overall I'm impressed with the quality and if I can move it to a smaller room upstairs it will be perfect. It's a bit heavy so have someone to help you with it when it is delivered.

Unit sits on wheels so easy to move. Installation was quick enough. If smaller than 22.5", plan to saw. This unit cools well, but it is very loud. Compressor is inside so you hear it all. Not good for an office if you need to be on the phone. Not sure if I can endure the noise factor (it loud rumbling with screeches)... or buy another unit that promises quiet/ultra quiet.

Ya tenemos dos años con él y con el mantenimiento adecuado funciona perfectamente. (NOTA: Si no te gusta el ruido, piénsalo. No es súper bullooso pero tampoco silencioso).
