Life Saver!!

Includes 16 awg wire to the XT60 plug
While the wires from the MC4 connectors to the split point are 14 awg, the wires from there to the XT60 are only 16 awg. That doesn't really make any sense.

Miswired
The connectors were reversed. The red wire had the black connector which the black wire had the red connector. Was not too difficult to fix their mess up. Also the wire coating is thinner than other solar wires and jumpers I have. Actual wire still same gauge.

I have a 200W rooftop solar panel which I use to charge a Solar Power Station and I needed a replacement cable with XT60 (male) for input and mc4 connectors for the solar panel. This cable is 14AWG for the mc4 connectors and 16AWG for the Solar Y shunt cable connector to the XT60 connector. I would have preferred the same 14AWG gauge that I previously had on my original cable. This RIIEYOCA cable is sold at a great price and supports 50W/100W/175W/200W solar panels For my specific needs, this RIIEYOCA cable supports my 200W solar panel, and should be no problem, so I’m giving it a try. The one thing I noticed is the XT60 connector is not sealed as I see the cables going into the connector, so when it comes time to pull out the connector I must make sure not to pull on the wire, but on the connector itself. On the other end for the mc4 connectors, the negative wire is solid in the connector, but the positive wire is loose as I can spin the connector in my hand, so not sure if this was crimped properly.

This solar connector to XT60 adapter is very handy. It's nice for my solar power station, and could be great for DIY set ups.
