I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss, but I really like this formula. It's not greasy and has staying power, and really conditions my dry lips with just the right amount of shine (I avoid the ones with additional shimmer, because that is too much for me). This is what I hoped for, a subtle bright. A nice bright raspberry shade that isn't out of place on my face, especially since it is sheer and, yes, I blot it. I don't know if it actually plumps the lips. The tingling sensation is barely there, very gentle and not unpleasant. I feel like it may plump my lips slightly just from being nice and hydrating. I like to wear these glosses for just a hint of colour and a definite feeling that my lips are protected and nourished. It's almost more like skincare than makeup to me! I have dry lips, skin and hair, but oils don't work on my. I really tried to jump on the lip oil bandwagon, but honestly, I've hated every one I've tried. So I will stick to this and my nice, creamy lipsticks and a few other choice products that are comfortable and help me look and feel better!

Also, I extensively researched hyaluronic acid lip gloss via the internet and read several articles prior to deciding on this product. My personal experience with the Maybelline Lift Gloss is positive. It does have coconut oil and other lubricants and emollients to help moisturize your lips. Hydration begins internally, facilitating outward moisture movement that contributes to a fuller appearance of the lips. Sodium Hyaluronate, the salt form of Hyaluronic Acid, is known for its moisturizing properties. These ingredients contribute to hydrated lips and provide the subtle plumping effect I desire. The lip gloss applies well and it’s not heavy. Prior to applying the product, I utilize a lip preparation to enhance the longevity and adherence of the gloss. The gloss creates the appearance of fuller lips; however, individuals seeking significant enlargement or pronounced poutiness may find that the results are more subtle. This assessment is based on my personal experience. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the performance of the lip gloss, and the shades I have selected are visually appealing.

LOVE the Lifter glosses! I was specifically looking for affordable Fenty dupes and came across this line. To start my journey, I bought the Lifter Gloss in "Ice" and "Stone". Both neutral options look very natural on any skin tone. Ice is clear with a hint of soft pink. Stone goes on creamy peachy brown, but quickly changes to a more clear gloss with a hint of peach. I like to pair the "Stone" gloss with the Lifter pencil in "On It", and I pair "Ice" with the Lifter pencil in "Line Leader". The gloss effect lasts an hour or so and the pencil can last hours depending on your application. Personally, I like to reapply the gloss throughout the day because the HA in the gloss is perfectly hydrating and there is a slight vanilla or coconut taste when you first apply the gloss. The pencil liners apply silky smooth -- and the liner actually works -- it keeps my gloss from feathering or moving into any imperfections or age lines around my lips. I can't find a single "con" to the Lifter glosses or lip pencils. I started this journey to find an adorable option. I think the price and high quality performance cannot be beat. Recommendations: select your favorite color by looking through the color charts showing each color on variable skin tones. I recommend starting with the color "Ice"- it's truly neutral with a hint of pink and looks beautiful on every skin type and color. The Lifter lip pencil in "Line Leader" pairs beautifully with most neutral glosses -- and it applies as a silky matte that can also be used on your whole lip when you need a matte option AND is dependable/stays in place. I'll be purchasing the gloss in "Opal" next and I plan to us it with the "Line Leader" pencil (my new go-to liner)!

Very nice gloss. Great texture, not too sticky, no funky smell or taste. Moon is my fave shade but I've tried others. Most of them incl Moon do not have a lot of color to them and aren't extremely shimmery. Not exactly clear gloss, but very subtle color and not glittery or metallic at all. From the outside it looks like it would have more shimmer to it. I wish it did, but If you like subtle gloss, this is for you. It's great for layering over dry-ish lipsticks. One thing I came to really like is the square shape of the case. It stays shut in your purse and it's easy to grab without looking because of the unique shape; you know right away what it is when you're rummaging around in your bag. Convenient when driving; you can keep eyes on the road. Weird thing to appreciate about a cosmetic, but I do. lol I think this is supposedly a "plumper" gloss but if it's got that acid in it meant to swell the lips, it must not be much. It doesn't irritate, burn or plump my lips at all. It's just nice gloss.
