Great salmon rub!
This is a great rub, one of my favorite rubs for Salmon. Has a great taste. Good for chicken or pork as well.

This saved my over cooked chicken
I had gotten this to try with a pork butt. Plans changed and we ended up using this on some chicken breast. The smoker went down and had to change to the oven. Loud noises and a few shoot a later, the oh no moment of who forgot to set the timer. Chicken was about 30 degrees past. Still retained flavor and haddent dried out too much somehow. At this point we realize I probably over seasoned a little bit. That ended up as a blessing. The flavor penetrated the entire chicken breast. Sweet and a nice spicy that built to a point and dissipated quick from a rush of spicy to a very mild lingering flavorable level of spicy and flavor. Needless to say I am a fan for life. I do recommend to give the chicken a long enough time for the flavors to sink and do its magic.

A great sweet rub.
If you're like me, you spend a lot of time in front of your grill or smoker. A lot of time. As such, I am always down to try out new rubs just to change things up for a bit. Enter "hot for peacher." Of course, before using it, I put a bit on my hand to taste it. After all, how do you know what to use it for if you don't know what flavor it brings to the table? The opening flavor is predominately peach with a subtle pepper after taste that slowly washes over it. It isn't hot by any means, but it is an interesting flavor profile that I haven't encountered in all my years of outdoor cooking. With that in mind, it was pretty clear to me that the obvious choice for the first cook with it was going to be thick cut pork chops. So I seasoned the chops the night before, let them sit in the fridge, then the next day threw them on my smoker with a mix of maple, cherry, oak, and hickory wood and cooked them to 145 at 225 degrees. Once complete, I let them rest, then gave it a go. I have to say, for pork, this seasoning blend works phenomenally. Pork naturally works well with a hint of sweetness, so that peach accent goes delightfully with them. It leads to a nice deep flavor profile that is greater than the sum of its parts. I could see this being perfect for pork loin or even carnitas. I wouldn't use it for beef, however. Happy to recommend this.

Delicious!
Tried this for giggles. Peach smoke? Awesome flavor. Family loved the peach smoked pulled pork I made. Highly recommend.

No peach flavor
Tasting straight from the canister I notice no peach flavor, but very high on the black pepper and coriander. In fact the taste to me is a pepper, coriander with some heat from the cayenne pepper. Not very flavorful in my opinion. Unsure after tasting if I will use or not as I was really thinking smokey peach flavor would be great on grilled chicken and pork and this just isn't it

This was awful
I genuinely don't know how this has so many good reviews as it smells and tastes awful. It tastes like imitation peach flavor that went bad and someone decided they needed to use it anyway.
