This book is a great start for anyone willing to explore the way of the flamenco style. I have purchased many other flamenco books in the past and this one is honestly the book I should of started off with. Juanito explains all the fundamentals and techniques needed as well as palos, history, chords etc. Juanito is also a great flamenco guitar player and his examples in the book are easy to follow and straight to the point. If you have doubts, check out his videos. I recommend this book to beginners and intermediate as well since its a valuable resource to go back to and practice the essential techniques

Es ist in einem kompakten Band das wichtigste wiedergegeben was man braucht, um die Flamencogitarre zu erlernen.Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Essenziale e progressivo. Introduce alla tecnica della chitarra flamenca con una progressività che lo rende adatto anche ai principianti. Una prima parte spiega la teoria e la struttura dello strumento; seguono vari esempi tecnici e stilistici. l'accluso Cd fornisce gli esempi da seguire soprattutto per l'impostazione sonora. Consigliatissimo per chi, avendo già una buona conoscenza della tecnica classica, desidera approfondire le proprie capacità o, anche semplicemente, fare conoscenza con il flamenco suonato.
