I recently tried this dog deodorant shampoo on my cocker spaniel, and while it had a lovely, fresh scent that made bath time a joy, I was a bit disappointed with how short-lived the fragrance was. My pup smelled fantastic right after the bath, but the scent faded within a day or two. On the positive side, the shampoo left his coat soft and shiny, and it seemed gentle on his skin. If the scent lasted longer, this would be a perfect pick for regular grooming sessions.

I thoroughly recommend this product if you have a canine 'pal' that is less than fragrant! Our elderly Cavalier was particularly offensive at the time I purchased this, and with one wash the smell was eliminated, and did not recur as with other shampoos. Recently we agreed to foster a blind Sharpei who was being re-homed because the owner had at least seven dogs and was not coping. When the dog arrived the smell totally eclipsed anything our Cavalier had managed in the way of body odour, and in fact I did not think we would be able to help out the rescue centre, the smell was detectable throughout the house immediately. We probably shouldn't have bathed him so soon after his arrival, but it was either that or send him back! Again...one wash with this product and the problem was gone, a week later and he's still odour-free, apart from his ears, but that's another story! Buy it, I'm sure you won't regret it.

I used to use a different shampoo but noticed that my dog would still have a funny smell even straight after his bath. Since using this shampoo I can esily go 2 weeks and not notice any smell. Will definitely buy again, best deodorant shampoo so far.
