4 for the price of 1 !
There's a reason why you get 4...they break easily and can't be used on all shirts. After about a month's use (used 3x/week), the pin broke off of one into it's holder/clasp. Well, I guess I have 3 more, so into the rotation another went. Also, these have metal button holes that go around your button to secure your tie from flopping about. However, not all buttons fit into this little hole easily, if at all. OK, so I started tucking that metal button holder piece into my shirt's button hole and then putting the shirt's button into the button hole to keep the metal piece in place. From this point what I believe is that you're really getting four low quality items for the price of one higher quality item...not a bad deal, just not a good deal.

Tie Pins
Nice tie pins. However, the studs are a bit short making it difficult to push through the tie and fasten on the back of the tie. Would have love to given five star but because of having to struggle to get it to fasten had to go with four.

Very cheap. Two broken tie tacks before they were even worn.
I don't leave reviews often, but I had to in this case in hopes of sparing others the hassle. Most of the tie tacks on Amazon have poor reviews, but these looked promising and I was hoping they were better quality. Unfortunately they're very cheaply made. First, the posts are quite short and don't allow much room for the backer if you have a thicker tie. But worse, they break easily. I pulled two of the tacks out to try them on my husband's tie. On the first, the clear gemstone wasn't attached securely and fell out. So, I tried the blue one, which slipped from my hand and fell a short distance. When I picked it up, the head of the tack had separated and the post had completely broken off. I couldn't believe it. I didn't bother to try the red or black tacks, concerned they would also break. Horrible purchase that will be going back for a refund. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a high-quality tack that will last for years (if you can find one).
