High performance snorkel system Innovative air system separates exhaled air from inhaled air Carbon dioxide and moisture are expelled Dry air is channeled in Great for endurance training Allows for underwater flip turns Ergonomic design does not block vision Adjustable headband keeps it in place Flexible mouthpiece Includes zippered case Review: Excellent product! - I really love this snorkel. Took a bit of a gamble and just had it shipped to my destination without trying it at home first but it was stellar. I have a couple of complaints but first I want to say it’s very comfortable and resists water better than any other snorkel I’ve used. My first complaint is the noise. I was using in the noise. There’s like a whining noise from what sounds like a rotary fan? It sounds like you’re spooling a turbo right next to your ear. Next complaint is really not a complaint but a warning to anyone not super comfortable with snorkels: this snorkel is tightened to your face. You can’t just open your mouth and drop the snorkel. If you get a mouth full of water and you have a full face mask on, it sucks. I prefer a mask with no nose covering anyway but just a warning. Review: Bubbles come out front - I thought the exhale was out one tube, the inhale from the other. Instead, you inhale through both tubes, and the exhale comes out the front in bubbles. This means exhaling takes a little work when your head is even a little underneath the water. Something to get used to. If you inhale underwater strongly enough, you will get your lungs full of water. Since there is a head band that latches this to your head, if you are not careful, you could drown yourself. Beware of this. Other than that, if you know how it works and know its limitations, it works great for lap swims and saves your neck from pain from lifting your head to breath.

exceptional product, exceptional customer service
I compared the PowerBreather with several others in the market, and found it to be exactly what I was looking for: a high-quality fresh air snorkel for distance swimming. I have been really happy with it and found it well worth the money... I admit I found the price a bit high at first, but you really get what you pay for here; it's extremely well designed and assembled, it is streamlined in the water, and I think it looks very cool too. I also note that I had a small issue with a piece of it (the little plastic piece sank into a deep lake), and the customer service was wonderful. I filled out a form on their website and they sent me a new part in a few days. I will definitely be a PowerBreather customer for a long time.

it takes a good deal of force to breath out when under water
I took this snorkel for a test run at the pool yesterday before a Bahamas trip. It is more difficult to use than a traditional snorkel, especially when just floating. However it really shines when swimming hard. What I mean by that is this, it takes a good deal of force to breath out when under water. However when you are swimming your body doesn't really notice the resistance very much and you get easy clean fresh air upon breathing in. The downsides as some have already noted are as such: When diving you will need to clear the snorkel because water will get in due to the pressure, which means you basically have to take it out of your mouth like the old school ones (without a check valve) unless you want to risk not getting all of the water out and breathing in some water when gasping for air. The other downside is that if you dont clear it all the way and choke on some water, it's not easy to take off quickly if you have it secured well. Other than that I do like it, it really does work better than the traditional in the sense that you get fresh air.

What is your headshape
There should be a warning that this item only fits narrow heads shapes. I have a round shaped head and wide jaws. This Powerbreather is shaped for narrow head. I tried several different ways to fit it per the instructions but it would not work.

Vielen Dank.
