Star Wars Art Posters

This is a gorgeous book. As others have said, the whole 'Star Wars Art' series of books are very good, but this is the one that will perhaps have the widest appeal. If you already own and like any of the other books in the series this is pretty much essential. There have been many Star Wars books that have featured some of the posters in this one, but even if you own those I would still consider getting this one too - it really is beautifully presented and (at least at the time of writing, in late November 2014) it's very good value.

Well as an illustrator i had to buy this. There's not much to say about this book. The edition is excellent, the printing quality is perfect and it has a ton of rare sketches and rarely seen posters done for star wars. For a star wars fan is a must buy. For someone interested in illustration it's one no to miss too. For the general public, if you like good and varied drawings you cannot go wrong with this one.

Great and informative book, bigger than I thought it was going to be! Stunning clear pictures with popping colours. Features many rare images of conceptual artwork. I would highly recommend this book.

this is the most beautiful book on the star wars posters covering the first 6 films very richly illustrated with all original and concept poster art , a mix of single page and gate-fold makes it a stunning book it's a total must for the fan of any film poster ,but a have to have regardless for the star wars fan and very reasonably priced as it is 200 pages and high quality

Another in the superb 'Star Wars Art' series, this time focus is on the many posters from the films, as well as from both series, 2D & CGI, of 'The Clone Wars' and more. With a foreword by Drew Struzan and an introduction by Roger Kastel (artist of the iconic 'Jaws' poster), included in the 180 page hardcover book are original paintings, illustrations and concept sketches created for the movies, as well as a look at some of the cool limited edition prints from ACME Archives and Mondo. A veritable who's who of the poster art scene, some of the artists in the pages include Ralph McQuarrie, Tom Jung, Roger Kastel, Drew Struzan, John Alvin, Olly Moss, Tyler Stout, Steve Thomas, Tom Whalen, Adam Hughes, Brian Rood, Boris Vallejo and lots more! Bought for my Star Wars nerd of a girlfriend, this was an great gift. Full of lovely posters of great quality. Well presented and great value for money. I'm going to buy another so I can use it to make posters for her study.

This is a very impressive book, with over 100 pages of beautifully illustrated poster designs. Covering all the films and other commercial ventures, this book illustrates the early concepts, design development and final design, from the 70's through to the modern day in various techniques. If you are a fan of poster art and Star Wars, then you won't be disappointed.

Não costumo parar para avaliar um produto, salvo se o produto for muito bom ou muito ruim. No caso deste livro fiz de parar para escrever uma análise porque o livro é excelente. Contempla todos os posteres imagináveis da trilogia clássica, prequels e ainda inclui posteres das séries animadas, videogames entre outros. O material é espetacular, papel de primeira e impressões de altíssima qualidade. Possui uma capa "guarda pó" para preservar a capa original do livro. O preço está ótimo também, paguei menos do que teria pago caso tivesse comprado pela Amazon dos US. Se você que está lendo esse review tinha alguma dúvida sobre comprar ou não, compre que garanto que não vais se arrepender.

Un très beau livre d`affiches de Star Wars.Très agréable à regarder et de belle finition.Tout est sur papier glacé, ce qui en fait un bel objet.
