Perfect bag for your babies
This has been my best purchase as a cat mom to date. My Baby loves walking around and looking out of the little window. It’s big enough for a pretty large cat. I love that I can carry him around my back and enjoy hikes and our daily walks in the neighborhood. I’m always complimented by other cat moms on how cute my bag is.

Good expandable cat backpack
My cat tolerates this carrier/backpack (but he still hollers). It's a good design, expands to double in size and is good for car trips, but he won't quit meowing. On long car trips we sometimes let him out because he likes to sit on the armrest and look out the windshield. Cats -- whatcha gonna do??

My kitten just lives in here now.
The media could not be loaded. Since the minute we unwrapped this backpack carrier, my kitten was curious and went inside of it to play. We took him on a drive shortly after, and while he got anxious in the car with it closed, he was really content with the tent expanded on hourlong ride home. It is easy to carry to the vet, and he is curious and calm as long as he can see us through the window. Most importantly, he just hangs out in here all day when we are home. He feels safe in it and I am thankful a beautiful, comfortable, thoughtfully designed carrier like this exists!

Really attractive design but poor functionality.
I really wanted to like this since all the other similar carriers are pretty ugly. HOWEVER - while this excels in aesthetic design, the functionality is pretty poor. The material the top green flap is made out of seems cheap and wrinkles easily. The actual comfort of wearing the backpack is pretty poor, and like other people have mentioned elsewhere, the bottom of the backpack isn't very sturdy so the floor will tilt when the pet is inside. There's also no zipper in the front that would allow the pet to peek its head out.

Best in class
I got this carrier for a road trip from California to Texas and have been quite impressed with it. The seemingly compact carrier is well though out and well construction with plenty of consideration for how both humans and felines will use it.For humans, it has multiple external pockets for organizing your supplies, well constructed seams, smooth zippers, and comfortable straps to wear as a backpack. The portable kennel expands and collapses easily so there is not a lot of disruption for kitty when transitioning between modes. For felines, it is airy and comfortably with space to move, offers multiple viewing ports, a portable sandbox, and feeding accessories. The whole thing is moisture resistant so cleaning up spills and messes isn't as big of a hassle as it could be and kitty really seemed to appreciate the attached privacy curtain when the sun was shining directly on the carrier. If I had any complaints, they would be minor. For me, wearing the carrier in backpack mode felt a little wide and boxy. Not uncomfortable, just big on the back. Probably good for kitty, though, as they have all that much more room. My only other issue is that all the mesh screening is great for air flow, but not for claws. Once my cat calmed down it was fine, but it is probably a good idea to slowly assimilate your cat to the carrier prior to long trips or regular use.The carrier is a little pricey, but this is certainly one of those instances where you truly get what you pay for. Hands-down this is among the best carriers I've seen that is well suited for both short and long trips. It eases travel stress for both the cat and the human, so how can you put a price on that? Highly recommend.

Needs more work
The bottom panel is flimsy, and budges down when my cat goes into it by default - my cats do not approve when setting it down on the floor. I’ve made significant improvements to the backpack… I bought an acrylic board 10” by 15” and it fits in perfectly. Then I bought a pet bed the same size. Then I bought a heat pad to sit between the acrylic board and the bed… and I have an anker battery on the side pocket with the wire for the heat pad coming out from the back. Also for the top flap, I added Velcro pieces to make it cover the top ventilated part only while still being able to see through the front window. I live in NY, so it’s cold during this time of year - my cat was initially shaking in this bag cause of the cold. But now… my cat loves the backpack, can’t wait to go travel with me.

my cat likes this?
This was a little complicated to set up, I'm not gonna lie. I watched the video on the product page, I read the instructions, and it still took some time for me to figure out how to completely unfold the tent part. But eventually I did it, and I think it's pretty neat! However, because I live in the desert, I highly doubt I will utilize that part; it's just too hot to take my kitty outside right now. Anyway, I digress.I think this thing is SUPER cool! I really do love it. The roll-down cover is amazing, as that is going to be very helpful when I take my cat to the vet. I like that there's a little velcro strip to hold the cover in place when it's rolled up. There's a little door that can be unzipped so my cat can come in and out when I have this carrier open in the house (see the last pic). The backpack straps are very comfy to wear, as they are padded. The flaps on the side (see pic #9) are magnetic, so when they are flipped down, the mesh window gives my cat room to breathe and see through. The travel litter box fits in the pop up tent and is foldable and can fit in the side pocket (opposite the zipper door shown in the last pic; side pocket not pictured though). My cat HATES carriers and yet last night, she went to lay inside the carrier like it was a small cat cave. I know she probably thought that's what it was, but still. I think this carrier might be a big hit with her. I like it a lot, and I hope she does too.
