Effective and surprisingly painless
I’ve been using the Ulike Air 3 IPL hair removal device for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The ice-cooling feature makes a big difference—it’s much more comfortable than I expected, even on sensitive areas. It’s easy to use, the auto-flash mode saves time, and I can do full-body sessions at home without any hassle. After a few sessions, I’ve already noticed slower hair growth and smoother skin. It feels like a professional-quality device at a fraction of the cost. Great option for both women and men.

Works great for a home device
I have tried another brand and this one beats it by far. I mostly have very light hair but it made a difference on the areas where the hair is a bit darker like the bikini line and armpits. It has not helped with the blond hair, which I didn't expect it would. It does heat up but overall not painful unless the hair has grown out but even that is bearable. . Very easy to use. I also purchased as a gift, and they have been happy with the results on their face. Comes in a nice box and overall I recommend.

Impressive Long-Term Results
I’ve owned this Ulike Air 3 for about a year now, and it’s honestly one of the best beauty devices I’ve invested in. I saw great results after just the first three sessions, and since then, I only use it occasionally to maintain the smoothness. The difference has been noticeable and long-lasting. I have hidradenitis suppurativa, and surprisingly, the IPL light has been beneficial for my skin condition — it helped calm flare-ups and made the affected areas look much clearer over time. I’d still recommend talking to a dermatologist if you have skin concerns, but from my experience, it’s been very positive. The cooling feature is a must it makes the treatment nearly painless, and I can comfortably use it at the maximum intensity setting without irritation. It genuinely feels soothing on the skin, which makes the process way more pleasant compared to other IPL devices I’ve tried. The only thing to be careful about is pigmentation IPL can slightly affect darker areas, so it’s important to test a small patch first if you have uneven tone or tanned skin. Overall, this device has worked really well for me, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an effective, at-home hair removal option that’s gentle, comfortable, and gives salon-quality results.

Worked great on my legs and bikini line; didn’t work on my armpits and pubic area
It has been six weeks since I got the device and was using it religiously every other day. It indeed stays cold at all times and doesn’t hurt at all unless you miss a tiny hair somewhere so shave really thoroughly. It said that after 3 weeks 90% of the hair would be gone, well this is only when I barely started noticing the difference. I always used the power mode on legs. As of today, It’s been 10 days since I did the procedure last time on my legs and visually my legs are bold, but I can barely still feel some hairs on it which is fine. I did not expect 100% silky skin considering that I used to see and feel hoarse hair literally the next day after regular shaving. Great result here! Truly impressed! It also worked on my bikini line, the area that worried me the most (I’d always get immediate bad irritation after every time I shaved) however the pubic area doesn’t seem like worked at all. I also always used the power mode here. I expected to have just a couple of hairs left here and there like on my legs. Instead, I got only a couple of hairs missing when the whole situation stayed the same after six weeks, so no changes on my pubic area. I’m very happy that at least the bikini line doesn’t look irritated after shaving no more and hair noticeably slowed down growing and its quantity reduced so I’m grateful for that. My armpits also don’t seem like working. This is the only area that I used the body mode on since I was feeling the warm sensation when the pulse hit so I was afraid of going power mode over there. Even though the quantity of hair slightly reduced, it still grows back with the same speed. Also it said that you can do the whole body in about 15 minutes. Well only my armpits and bikini area were taking 10-15 minutes. Legs were taking me at least 45 mins and I mean just lower legs or just thighs. So if I were to do full legs it’d take me good an hour and a half. And meanwhile the device itself would get really hot (not the flash window tho, it’d still stay cold) so I’d have to put it away and let cool down for another 30 mins. So I chose to use the device on my lower legs and bikini in one procedure on one day and thighs and armpits procedure the next day. Each that procedure was taking me about an hour. So basically I was using the device every single day for an hour for the first entire month, which is a long time every day to dedicate, but I’m happy with the results on my legs and not very happy with the armpits and public area results. As of week 7 I continue doing my bikini/pubic and armpits every other day and really hope it finally works. I’m wondering how long I can safely use it on my skin every other day, but don’t think I will be exceeding two months of every other day usage. Bottom line: this device clearly works. I’m sure everybody’s complexity is different but this is what I got for $230 and to me the result is worth the price. However, if it still doesn’t work on the pubic area, guess I will have to commit to the salon treatment.

I genuinely can't believe it works...
Ok look...I am not a review writer. I normally enjoy success in silence. But THIS product deserves a review. If I can help just one person make an educated purchase, then I've done a small justice for the world. I had extremely low expectations. I've had professional laser hair removal for my face several times in the past. It was expensive. I think I spent a total of $1500 dollars on it and, yes it worked extremely well, but it was so painful for me. A little history: I have PCOS, but it manifests in a very atypical way. The only "textbook" symptom I have is excess facial hair. And let me tell you, it's very noticeable when left untreated. Well, unfortunately, I'm also someone that reacts horribly to laser hair removal. I legitimately have an allergic reaction to the laser. I get weird raised bumps and whiteheads and my face swells super bad. So, after doing it for about a year, I couldn't handle the pain and recovery anymore. When my face healed, my skin looked amazing. The blemishes from constant tweezing and picking even cleared up and I got so many compliments on my skin. But, as most may know, no hair removal is permanent and since I gave up on the laser hair removal, my hair slowly started to regrow in thickness. It's bound to happen since I have higher levels of testosterone. I had been pretty desperate for an alternative treatment. I had gone back to tweezing and shaving, but the hair grew back quickly and my skin was just getting damaged again. I did pretty extensive research and decided to take my chances on this device. I really didn't have anything to lose but a few hundred bucks. To my surprise, it worked. Now, I don't know if it worked well because of my history with laser hair removal and perhaps the follicle was already altered. I also went against all advice and for the first several weeks I used it almost every day on the highest setting. I do not recommend everyone do this, as I did this at my own risk, and I was well aware of the risk I was taking. But my threshold for pain is high and let me tell you this was nothing compared to the pain that I had felt with professional laser hair removal. I almost enjoy the slight popping sensation that it gives when in use. My only regret is that I didn't take before and after photos. I really wish I could show proof of efficacy. My advice is for anybody that uses this, be patient, the results are not instant but they are quick. I think I noticed a big difference within the first couple of weeks. Again, I took a risk and utilized it every day. I do not recommend that, but for me it worked and it didn't cause any complications. I am down to using it about every other day to every couple of days. I am now to the point where I am maybe tweezing one or two hairs on my chin and only shaving the days I use this device because shaving is a requirement prior to use. But if I didn't have to shave prior to using this device, I probably wouldn't at all because there's zero hair growth. I am not exaggerating at all. Beyond the couple of hairs that I'm tweezing here and there, I see no more hair growth. This is coming from somebody that was practically growing a beard. My facial hair has been my only real insecurity - because admittedly - I'm conventionally attractive, so I've been told. I'm in great physical shape, I have conventionally attractive features, so concealing this embarrassing issue has been quite the challenge. This honestly saved my life. I know that seems a bit dramatic, but I was feeling very hopeless in getting rid of the hair growing from my face until I stumbled across this. I am so much more confident now that I no longer even wear makeup to try to conceal the 5 o'clock shadow that I was experiencing towards the end of the day. I'm not guaranteeing that my results are the standard or that anyone else may experience similar results. For all I know I could be a huge exception or an anomaly. But I can say with full faith and confidence that this definitely helped me, and if you're in any type of position that I was in, you understand that feeling of hopelessness. If you're already at that point of hopelessness then what do you have to lose by trying it out?

Does work, but set expectations low
I am at the 4 week mark. I've tried an at-home IPL device once before, and this one is better. So far I've tried upper lip, chin, and underarm. I can tell a slight difference - the hair is slower to grow in, and I think it is not as thick. The little *zap* is not painful, even on "power" mode. The window that the laser comes through is very small, so it takes me about 15 minutes just to do those small areas. I imagine a leg would take a solid 30 minutes. Their guarantee is for 6 weeks, which will not be enough time to tell if it is actually going to fully perform as advertised. So cheaper and easier than the salon, but you will still be doing the same shaving maintenance as before. Will update if it turns out to provide nearly-complete hair removal.

Effective and easy
This works way better than I thought it would. After about 5 uses and my hair is already growing in lighter and less dense. It is very bright so make sure you use the protective eyewear it comes with and I even look away or use my other hand to kind of shield the flash from going towards my eyes. But I only need to shave like once a month now, I can’t wait for the full results after a few more weeks!

Actually works!
I have had professional laser hair removal on parts of my body, but after 10 years, the hair all came back! The professional removal was very painful, so I did not want to go back, but wanted the hair done again. I think I had more chin hair than my 17 year old son! I started using the lowest level setting to test it out for pain. The cold is cold, but I felt zero pain from the laser. The next time I went up to 2, again no pain, but I have super stubborn and thick hair, so I decided to jump up to 3 to see if it was really going to hurt or work. Only felt a small zap in very few sensitive spots, over all, not bad! The cold really does make a big difference. At first I didn't see any difference and I am religious about using it every other day. I even went over really thick stubborn areas twice a session. Finally about 4 to 5 weeks in I noticed that the majority of hair in my legs (the thinner hair) wasn't coming back! I only had patches of hair left. After 6 to 7 weeks, I noticed the really stubborn hairs not coming in, or coming in really thin and slow. I will continue to use it until it is all gone. I will let you know how it goes. I wish the instructions did a better job about explaining how close to each other, each pulse should be, I know the window is very small, so I overlap the window area to make sure I don't miss any spots. Working on my 5'11" legs does take up quite a bit of time, but I want to be thorough. The only other down side with the product design besides a tiny pulse window and not super specific instructions, is the vent\fan area of the unit is inconveniently where my hand would be, when I use it. At first I didn't think anything of it and held it like I normally would need to, but the unit did get hot and shut off. After I let it cool down a little I continued with my hand in a less convenient location to avoid the vent area. I have not had it over heat again.
