Simply Sports Hand Grip and Training Gripper

This grip was supposed to be only 80 pounds. It is as hard to close as a 150 pound grip from another company.

I purchased the 100 lb grip in order to increase the load of the workouts that I am currently doing using a 40 lb grip. First time I squeezed it I noticed something was very wrong. It felt like a 30-40 pounder, not a 100 lb one. By using a tension force measuring tool I was able to determine that the force required to close the grip is about 18 kilos, or 40 lbs.Also, the product comes in a plastic wrap with no identification of whether this is a 80 or a 100lb grip. Overall poor quality control.

Appears to be sturdy. Last set was plastic and finally broke.Soft hand grips would be nice.I'm satisfied.

It was much lighter than the advertised weight.I have a Iron Mind 60lb and this was labeled as 80lb but was much lighter.I would say it's 20 to 30lb.

These grippers are very basic exercise equipment. If you are like me you often buy equipment and then discard it. I wanted to improve my grip strength but not spend much money. I purchased these and they worked as well as more expensive versions.

This product is lightweight and fits anywhere but still gives a good exercise capabilities. The grip is designed ergonomically well and fits in my hand very comfortably.

Gripper is of good quality but the tension is nowhere near the '100 pounds' stated. It's about the same as any regular hand gripper, making it essentially useless to me.

Not very hard to compress, should be targeting the women for this hand exerciser.

Usually you cannot find the hard one on the market. You always find the light one. A little heavy to to be carried in bag.

it does exactly what it's supposed to do. very sturdy. i highly recommend it to anyone who wants to boost their grip strength

Description says 80lb, more like 30lb.
