Don't Mock The Turtleneck!
The Augusta Sportswear Wicking Mock Turtleneck is a lightweight garment that is useful as a layer. I don't think it is a great base layer in warmer weather because it does not transfer moisture as well a other materials and garments I have worn. I do think it works well in cooler weather as long as you do not perspire too much. It looks good and fits well. I feel it is true to size if not a little small. I have a 44 inch chest and I purchased a large and it lays close to the skin without being tight. I use this garment to wear under my heated motorcycle jacket liner and also under my mesh motorcycle armor. It works better for this than anything I have used so far. It is wearing well with no frays, pilling or seam damage. I would definitely recommend this garment within the aformentioned limitations.

Rather "so-so" mock turtleneck...
This is more of a crew neck than a mock turtleneck so I was a bit disappointed. The neck tilts forward and I really didn't care for that but the color is awesome, and the fabric is nice. It's rather thin, which means you can wear it over a turtleneck that comes up higher and still not be too warm. Works for me!

Not the color displayed in the picture
I ordered the Navy color after seeing the picture, it would have been perfect for a costume I was making. IT IS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. It is very, very dark. It does feel nice, and I will keep it for that reason. Just so you know, the pictures ARE NOT reflective of the colors. Other than that, it seems like a nice piece.

Great color and quality!
I love these 100% polyester shirts for casual wearing or with my suits. Cool and comfortable and versatile. My only complaint with this item is it took 2 weeks for it to arrive.

the price is right for this item. its was cheaper than desired so I returned it. I had found some others that ended up working better

Mock Jersey ok
For the price I paid I would say it is o.k. Good enough to wear underneath something for sure. The collar does not lay straight though.

Too big. The shirt is very nice but the size small I received is more like a medium

Very nice quality but does runs small. Would recommend buying next larger size if looking for a loose fitting mock.
