I have no idea. Why would you be worried about gluten- free when it goes on your feet not in your gut.

I've used this and like it. But Gold Bond has a cream in an almost identical package labelled "softening with shea butter" (leaving out the "foot cream" part). Is that cream virtually the same as this one? Or is there something special to this that really addresses feet, specifically?

I made the same mistake because the containers look almost exactly alike. I wanted the foot cream and see that urea is listed as the second ingredient, and in the other (softening but not foot cream) urea is listed as the third ingredient.

It is the best cream I have found for dry skin on feet

I originally purchased this foot cream whilst on holiday in the US. It is the best cream I have found for dry skin on feet, especially the heel area. With regular use (preferably after treatment with a pedicure file), it leaves feet soft and free of dry skin. Although with shipping costs it works out dearer than buying it in the US it is worth it.
