Happy Hippo Moleskin for Feet, Heavy Duty (1 Roll) 2" by 15 Feet (1 Roll)

This stuff is perfect for shoes that don't fit quite right. I have a pair of loafers that rub one heel. I put a small piece of this on the area of the shoe and it's 90% better. Another pair of sandals my pinky toe nail rubs in one spot, this cushions it. Even if it feels a little thick when you first put it in a shoe, it will quickly compress when you wear it and become much more comfortable. I like being able to completely customize the size of the piece I'm using. This roll will last a life-time! The stickiness is superb and lasts a long time. Only one annoyance is that peeling the backing off is a struggle. I really can't say it's a negative, because of the fact that it sticks to the surface of what you put it on so well. But finding the sweet spot to pull the backing off takes some patience. I found that if you bend it some, you can sometimes find a spot to peel it. I keep a piece at work in case a pair of shoes decides to start giving me trouble. You could even cut up a few small strips and put in your gym bag, purse, suitcase, etc. to have on hand. Lasts longer than a Band-Aid and provides great protection. Highly recommended.

if you are not sure what this is, the material acts as a shield between your skin and whatever is rubbing on you. i first learned of this in the military to protect blisters on my ankles and feet from marching in stiff boots. this is both superior and inferior to what i have used in the past. the fluffy side is less durable but the shield and adhesive which is what matters is amazing and i recommend it. the way i use it, i clean the spot well, use some form of long term antibiotic, i use isophores (iodine or betadine), and let it dry and then cover with the moleskin. i leave it on until it falls off as the skin sheds. by this time, the isophore has prevented bacterial growth and the wound has healed. been doing this since 1973 and it works for me. consult your doctor for you

I bought this to help protect my daughter’s heels/ankles from getting blisters from her riding boots & it worked great! It stays put throughout her lessons and she hasn’t gotten anymore blisters since using it. The moleskin is very soft. The only issue we have had with it is that it can be tricky to separate from the backing (really gotta use your nails). Other than that, it’s well worth it!

This moleskin functions fine for me. I am using it to cushion my ankles when hiking. It works for this purpose. It protects my skin from injury and abrasion. It certainly is a good value. I use it multiple times per week so value is important. I cut the strips for use to 4 inches and 6 inches each day I hike. One of the problems is the difficulty of peeling the backing off of the moleskin when it has been cut to the proper shape and size. One warning - do REMOVE the moleskin before bathing. If the product gets wet, it has a tendency to peel the fabric off and leave the adhesive stuck to your skin. Removing the adhesive after this is challenging.

I use this Mole skin to help with the comfort of my rock climbing shoes, which always need broken in when new. It works really well. I like that I can cut any length that I need and the two inch width is perfect for what I need. It stays on for as long as I need, in fact, I forget about it being on and typically find it in the shower as I wash my legs and feet.

The Happy Hippo Moleskin for Feet is great for preventing blisters and provides a decent level of cushioning during activity. While the adhesive holds fairly well at first, I found that it tends to come off once my feet start to sweat, which limits its long-term performance for intense hikes or workouts. I do wish the color was a more neutral tone, as the pink is quite noticeable. It’s effective in low-sweat situations and easy to cut to size, but consider pairing with another tape if you need stronger sticking power during high-sweat activities.

I traveled and walked over 20k steps a day with my poorly chosen shoes and this helped keep my blisters from popping and helped reduce friction to make them even more worse. I like that this is a long strip so I can cut the pieces exactly to the size I want. Know that the moleskin is stretchy and though possibly to rip it by hand if you wanted a different size, it's still best to cut with scissors. The stretchiness does help with wrapping it over your foot or toes though and reduce a bit of bulk. These also stick very well and stayed on all day

I have purchased this product a couple of times now and and my feet appreciate it! I use this product to cover the rub/hot spots on my feet while wearing steel toe shoes at work during my 13 hour shifts - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great value when compared to leading brands

I like the roll format because it is easier to cut than the sheets. It worked almost as well as some of the sheet material we have been using but just slightly less effective. Sticks well to sweaty feet. Overall a great product and would purchase again.
