Great for a short trip
Full disclosure, I returned this because I usually pack more than what I need.If you’re one that takes a carry-on, this is a great quality back from an amazing company. I wish I had kept it.This bag will fit in any overhead compartment. The wheel system is strong and will last. The handles on these are also built well.

I'd make a couple of minor tweaks but its a great bag
I was a little nervous buying this bag as at the time I bought it (around oct 2018), it was basically all vine reviews. But I have other osprey bags and went ahead and bought it. I'm not disappointed, its a great bag. I have used it for a few international flights. I have not checked it in, so cannot comment on that. Its light, rolls well and the color makes it easy to spot and keep an eye on when your on a bus/train etc. My only constructive criticism would be: Firstly, that there is fabric handle on the bottom, right beside the plastic handle, so one of them is not needed. Secondly, it has two handles on the top (on each edge) but i'd prefer one in the center as when you pick the bag up to walk down the aisle of a plane it swings out to the side. I think I will add a small strap in-between the top two handles for that purpose.

My 5th Osprey Bag
Recently purchased this bag and took it on a trip to Zion. I had been looking for a carry on size bag and this worked great. I was able to get all my hiking gear in this bag with a little room to spare. As others have said this bag is not super structured so depending on how you look at it ( you can over-pack to where the sides bulge or you can literally utilize every inch of the bag). Very durable so far. Can’t wait to use this bag on my next trip! And as always happy I chose Osprey! Haven’t been disappointed yet

Pretty darned good suitcase
This suitcase has a lot going for it. It's well built, for the most part, it seems pretty weather-resistant, it's easy to pull, and it's sized well for a carry-on.Size-wise, it's a little smaller than my old carry-on, and holds a bit less. I hear that the airlines are starting to reduce the size they'll permit you to carry on, so maybe this is the new "standard" size. It does feel like a little bit of space is sacrificed for the weirdly concave back of the suitcase, and, of course, the telescoping handle takes up some of the interior space. The bag is good for a weekend, but for most people (except small children or ridiculously light packers) not big enough for a week. There are three pockets. One is an outside pocket that's good for all kinds of things, but not big enough for notebooks or things shaped like that. There are two inside mesh pockets; one is on the inside of the flap, and the other is along the bottom of the suitcase. The internal ones took a moment to find; I almost didn't realize they were there. The handle is a good length. It was a little difficult to open and close at first, but after a few times it's completely fine. The suitcase feels pretty sturdy, and looks like it'll keep everything inside dry. The zipper pulls are great -- they're big, and they have holes big enough to use a lock. There's no luggage tag, but there is a plastic-covered slot for a business card. There's nothing to cover it, though, so your name and other info will be exposed if you use it.There are five handles (front, top, bottom, left, right). It's pretty easy to grab this from any direction, and you can use two handles to get even more control. The color we got is called "Ruffian Red", and would be pretty easy to spot if you check your bag. It's not ugly, but it does stand out.In general, the build quality is excellent, but the zipper pull for the bottom mesh pocket is missing the pull, and was also mounted backwards. This is a minor issue and I still like the suitcase. All in all, a pretty good option for short trips (they do make larger sizes, this review is for the "40" model).

Amazing
What I expect from Osprey.Great materials, functional, rolls easily, beefy. It is a little small on due to the weird telescopic handle configuration but no big deal for me.
