If you want to play with solar power it’s an excellent choice, but …
Got this on offer at £99, absolutely wouldn’t pay full price. Like many, my roof faces east and west, plus I’m think of moving, so roof top solar isn’t a viable option, however I do have a long south facing fence, so I bought this unit and two solar panels just to try it out, with a few extra bits I spent around £300 in total to get the system set up. The micro inverter it’s self is a thing of beauty, exceptionally well made, almost Applesk in it’s design, the app is great too but obviously limited as this is the only device I have, everything was easy to do and it just worked. For me everything is outside, as I already had power out there from the house main supply. There is on stumbling block for UK users, this unit is not strictly plug and play and the supplied cable and plug “should” not be plugged directly into a mains socket, after ordering I was sent an extra cable to allow the unit to be permanently wired to the mains, this also requires a separate breaker on the supply from the unit, plus DC isolators on the PV panels if you wish to stay compliant with UK regulations, if you choose not to do this, then that’s at your own risk, so an electrician should be the one to wire it in and that may come with other complications, like G95 applications and such forth, suddenly bumping up the cost. So far I have had the inverter running for about 3 weeks in late February / early March and have generated about £6 worth of power, however it’s output is limited to 200 watts, this covers the base load of the house without exporting back to the grid, so on sunny days there is 600 watts not being used, this could be avoided, but the cost of the EcoFlow battery system is just too high for my little experiment, another option is the use of EcoFlow smart plugs, but they appear to be out of stock everywhere. TLDR: great device, works well, very easy to use but complicated by UK regulations, ideal for real world evaluation of solar at a £99 price point.

Superb Product to harvest solar power!
This ecoflow micro inverter is a great product to harvest the power of the suns energy. The unit is smart and extremely well made - a stylish grey/silver metal body with an indicator light on the front. You will need to the Ecoflow app to set this up. It comes with all cables in the box to get you going within a few minutes. If you have already bought into the ecoflow system like i have then you will need to purchase the battery cable if you wish to connect it to an ecoflow battery unit. I have a delta 2 and the cable connects to the powerstream and then to the delata. You can then set the app to charge the battery and then send the excess into your home to cover some of your electricity usage. The unit has two MPPT controllers built in, you can connect 2 x 400w panels to this device, just ensure your VOC is under 55v - pretty much all 400w panels are around 34v so your should be well within this limit. If you don't have a battery then the powerstream will send the solar energy generated from the panel directly into your ring main and lower your reliance on grid purchased energy. Dependant on your home base load it may even cover your bill totally! These devices do run very hot when working hard (bright sunshine) so my advice is place them on a router fan or similar to circulate airflow. I purchased one of these units when the first came out around a year ago at a cost of £339, now amazon are selling them at £99! Absolutely bargain! Excellent ecoflow product - can't recommend enough!

Brilliant and saves money
This is a grid tied 800W hybrid micro-inverter. Compared to the loads of other nonbranded micro-inverters on Amazon, the Ecoflow is not only cheaper, but also much more reliable. Can be paired with the Ecoflow power banks for a true hybrid solar setup. Well made, works out of the box, pairs with the Ecoflow app effortlessly and integrates with other Ecoflow products. A must have anywhere where the sun is shining!

Has been working well for 2 weeks now
Initially, I was very impressed with this unit, the packaging and build quality is superb, it looks extremely professional and the finish is excellent, on first power up it was a breeze to setup and once I installed the app and connected the solar panels I was off, this was until I did a firmware update, one after another after another up until the point the device no longer functions, for some reason I get a steady white light and no input from my solar, despite the settings being correct. Sending back for a refund. Fantastic looking product let down by bad firmware. OK so I have decided to revisit this review. Credit where credit's due. The replacement unit is working well. However I have had to needlessly tinker with the settings in the software to get it working properly. I stand by my initial comment of "fantastic looking product led down by bad firmware" however it's now working and doing what it advertises. For the price I'm extremely pleased however I will err on the side of caution before I "update" any firmware in future.

Quick and easy to setup
Very impressive to say the least, I've linked an Ecoflow smart plug and linked to my Delta Max 1600W to. Glad I got it for £99 as you have to buy the main connection for your power stations from the Powerstream to your Max, it's a brilliant idea that has got to save you money. There's one snag, if you have to two extra smart batteries, you'll only be able to use one off them, I did ask Ecoflow if they've thought about or have made a daisy chain style, but they haven't and doesn't look like they'll do one anytime soon. If you were thinking about using a Ecoflow Smart Generator during the winter, then you'll loose both smart batteries due to the powerstream and the generator using both connections on the Delta Max, which means you'll be using the Ecoflow Smart Generator alot when using just the Delta Max that's doing all the work and probably not save a lot of money. As the Smart Generator will require constant fueling to keep the Delta Max running... As winter low light and directional of the sun, will not produce enough energy from the solar panels to keep your Delta Max running... Maybe one day Ecoflow will do either a daisy chain style to connect both Smart batteries or a power pod to link each smart batteries to the main power station...

EcoFlow PowerStream Micro-Inverter
These are a superb addition to an EcoFlow Delta series power station. Up to 4 can be used at the same time - provided you've got enough XT150 ports on your EcoFlow devices. Early versions were delivered with a UK or Shuko European standard plug for direct connection into a household ring or spur but now the UK regulations state that the PowerStream micro-inverters should be installed by a competent person, and hardwired into their own breaker in the consumer unit - so come without a 13A plug. Once installed they are controlled via the EcoFlow app, and delivered power demanded by either EcoFlow's Smart Plugs or a Shelly 3EM energy meter monitoring your whole house electricity demand.

Disappointing Warranty Process
I purchased EcoFlow products expecting high-quality service, but the warranty process was frustrating. Despite providing proof of purchase multiple times, I received contradictory information in each response. Initially promised a replacement, later I was told it wasn’t possible. The process dragged on for over a week, with no resolution. Communication was inconsistent, and I felt unsupported throughout. While the products may be innovative, the lack of reliable after-sales support is concerning. If you value efficient and professional service, consider this before buying.
