Beautiful glaze
Beautiful blue on brown clay!

Great red for oxidation firing!
Love this glaze with its depth that shows a hint of gold within the structure of the glaze. Turns brown in contact with clear zinc free glaze (HF-9). Quite runny so provide a dam grove at the bottom of the piece to catch and control the run.

Beautiful gray blue
Love this color. This is Mountain Fog 2x. Beautiful gray blue. Since I only did two sponged layers, you can see the clay. Couple more layers if you want it more solid and opaque. I took two photos--one with light on it and one in the shadow.

Worst Glaze I have ever used
I'm not one to leave reviews. If I get a product that works, I rate it accordingly. unfortunately, thats not the case here. what I received was a watery pint jar that I thought I had to mix. I've made my own mixes before and I stirred and stirred. at some point, it should mix into a thick-like (cream) consistency. This didn't happen. I followed the limited instructions on the jar, and fired it in the kiln and the coloring came out brown. like 80's paneling brown. No sparkle or pooling. so I mixed it again and even added gum (Arabic) to it and it didn't thicken up. then I realized what I thought was the bottom of the jar...was SOLID MATERIALS OF THE MIX. Again, I've made my own mixes off of Glazey; I have had them on my work shelf for over 6 months and I CAN STILL MIX THEM to make a glaze with a whisk. I mixed this glaze with a whisk, but it didn't work. I grabbed my drill mixer and it sort of worked but remained watery. I mixed it for over an hour and finally got the materials somewhat mixed. I brushed it on and shoved it in the kiln. still came out 80's wood panel brown. I'm sorry but the lack of quality has turned me off from any more purchases from this company. Please, fellow potters, do not try this mix. it'll waste your time and money and worst of all, your work. I'm thankful I tried this on a test piece because it was the worst.

It floats! (Runs)
Pros: 1. I like the color and goes well with the blue ultramarine celedon fom same vendor. 2. Easy to apply with brush, but need to make sure the glaze is very well shaken before applied. 3. This glaze RUNS! So it can create nice effects, but DO NOT apply more than 3 coats or you could stick your piece on the kiln. Cons. 1. I think the container could be better. There was no cover between the cover and the jar, so consequently the glaze on the cover after shaking was messy and when you put the lid back on the jar it spills and makes a mess. 2. If not mixed well, you could have an over-run. The ting is, you need at least 2 coats, so plan very carefully where the glaze will go. 3. It is pricey …

Seems high quality
I'll try to update when the first item comes out of the kiln, but the glaze seems thick and there seems like there is a good amount in the jar. I wasn't sure how many coats to put on since I was using a brush, so I did some tests. I'll let you know!

Love this glaze... but
I took ceramic in my senior year of high school and I bought his glaze, even though it says cone 5 or 6, we tried it in cone 5 which what my teacher would use but the color wasn't looking good so she tried it at a cone 6 and it looked beautiful. So just check in with your teacher or professor to make sure they can fire it at the right cone.

Deep a complex blue like the ocean.
Complex, deep blue, whitish bits, goes on thick. After stirring the big clump out, it still came out a bit thick, but honestly this is one of the most beautiful glazes. It's like looking into the deep blue ocean with depth and wave complexity. The camera doesn't do it justice and its much deeper and blue in person. Stunning color

I use it often. Make sure to always mix the bottom! It's incredible layers on top of peppered plum by mayco (video). Or alone like in my little soy sauce dipper.
