I recently started using the Aveeno Face CALM+RESTORE Oat Rich Balm after having a lot of breakouts on my nose, following using a rather abrasive retinol cream. This it has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. Here’s why I highly recommend it: Deep Moisturization: This balm provides exceptional hydration for my very dry and irritated skin. From the first application, I noticed a significant improvement in the softness and smoothness of my skin. It penetrates deeply, delivering long-lasting moisture without leaving a greasy residue. I literally noticed the difference after one use (at nighttime) Soothing Formula: The inclusion of oat extract is a game-changer for soothing irritation and redness. My skin feels calmer and less inflamed after each use, which is particularly beneficial during harsh weather conditions or after using other skincare products that can be irritating. Rich and Creamy Texture: The texture of the balm is rich and creamy, making it feel luxurious and nourishing. It spreads easily over the skin, and a little goes a long way. I appreciate that it absorbs well, providing immediate relief and hydration. Gentle and Safe: As someone with sensitive skin, I’m always cautious about new skincare products. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s worth noting for those who are extremely sensitive to any kind of smell. Personally, I find it barely noticeable and not a deterrent from using the product. Moisturises well, though without an oily feel, and eases irritated skin whilst causing no flare ups. Is good as a night cream over other treatments - due to its calming effects, it's a good counter for the irritation which might be caused by retinol/retinal or AHA serums, though I don't use it on nights when my skin felt drier, when I use another, gloopier moisturiser. Used over a serum, however, it does leave a slight, white residue, which takes a moment to rub in/disappear, so I tend to use it on days when I'm not wearing makeup. I've used it once under makeup - and it was fine with no primer, which my skin loathes, though as a base it was quite mattifying. Will definitely be buying more - it's one of those creams I'll reach for first when my skin feels overdone, out of sorts, and generally needing a more pared back, gentle approach.

Sine I have been using the balm I have noticed my skin on my face feels less dry and sore. The redness has decreased slightly. The cream is quite thick although I have found it absorbs quite well when rub into my skin gently for a couple of minutes. Skin feels softer. There is a slight odour but nothing offensive and it does disappear once applied. Hopefully this will help protect soften and keep moisture in my skin.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this one needs one. I’m normally a user of the oat gel balm, but bought this as a barrier. My skin is combination but in the winter months feels dry and saw. After one nights use, my skin is as soft as a baby, and also feels hydrated - usually you don’t get both. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed!

I really love Aveeno, and I was dying to try this product for my dry patches after reading the ingredients list. I've been using it for only a few days, and it's completely re-hydrated all of the dry patches on my face! I really struggle with dry skin around my eyes and mouth, it can be really painful and makes my makeup look awful. Since using this product, I've had no problems with dry skin. I dab a tiny amount on my problem areas after using a serum, so a little goes a long way and is really effective. I can see this lasting me a long time. One thing I especially love about Aveeno is that the products are formulated for dry, sensitive skin, so there's no fragrance, which can be really irritating. I've really found the products with oats in to be really effective.

Absolute game changer for dried out skin this time of year due to cold weather and central heating. Doesn’t break me out or pill on top of other skincare if using as a barrier cream for last step in routine either.

I love using aveeno products and this face cream was a good price and delivered quickly

Love this moisturiser but it takes absolutely ages for me to get this worked into my skin. It stays pretty pale for at least 40 seconds to a minute before it absorbs into my skin which it’s a bit of a chore.

Très très bien. Une crème qui soigne vite et bien. Avantage : ne laisse pas de gras visible ni invisible. Parfait pour les personnes qui ne supportent pas les hydratant gras blancs sur la peau. Seul point noir le prix .. Je suis a mon 3ème achat pour peau très très sèche.

Poco prodotto niente di eccezionale

Un peu cher en France, mais particulièrement efficace pour les peaux sèches. Une des rares crèmes qui ont réellement conservé l'hydratation pendant 24h pour moi sans être comédogène.
