Leather Carry On Bag - Holdall Airplane Underseat Travel Duffel Bags by Rustic Town

Excellent bag, beautiful leather, sturdy seams, zips and handles. The bag leather comes with a worn look, but is still very resistant to wear. The first thing you will likely notice about the bag when you recieve it is the weight and thickness of the leather, this bag is built to last, and it is not afraid to show it. The handles are joined on each side, both joins on either side of an external zip pocket (small). In the middle of one of the handles there is a grip that fastens the handles together and provides a comfortable place to hold. All of the zips on this bag are quite thick, and well... they're zips. The inner is lined with a fairly thick fabric, with a large inside zip pocket, a card holder, two pen holders and a pouch all integrated into the bag sides. I am using this for college and the pouch fits a scientific calculator perfectly. The fasteners for the strap are very well fixed on, and look a really great colour next to the leather. Underneath there is five studs, one in each corner and one in the centre, which seem sturdy, and have not come off yet from me throwing the bag around. My only complaint is the strap. Beautiful build quality, comfortable to wear, clips on either end are solid and attractive, buckle and stitching are all strong. However, the strap can only be shortened a somewhat small amount before the shoulder pad prevents the strap from being shortened further. Minor thing but can't be helped. However, if you are looking for a beautiful bag that will last you a lifetime I cannot reccomend this bag more

This bag is a top quality product, excellently made and smells superb. The handles and strap look very robust and up to the challenges it’s certainly going to face over the next few years. This would have been a 5 star review but I also purchased the matching wash bag, also in dark brown, and it arrived not just in a different shade but a totally different colour. The hold-all was a dark tan and the wash bag is a dark chocolate brown which is a shame as individually they’re two beautiful products but my slight OCD has now kicked in and I cannot look past the vast difference. Please don’t be put off buying either product as you won’t be disappointed just don’t expect them to be matching.

I really like the leather used on this bag. It’s thick, sturdy and stressed so that when you bend it the surface changes colour. The bag is a good size for cabin bag or a weekend away and just about fits a 13 inch laptop in. A lot of friends comment on the bag and say it looks classy, which I think it does. Functionally the bag is good and it opens wide to get access to your stuff. However when it is full you need to carefully hold the zip together as you zip it up in order to close it. The leather is top quality and I would rate the stitching and finishing as good, but not the best quality. If you look carefully the joints are not perfect and the edges where the zip attaches are a bit rough, but this is to be expected for this price and it being made in India - don’t expect Italian finish from an Indian made bag and this price. The zip is ok but I think this will be the item that would fail first, as I reckon the teeth will pull out of the canvas backing at the bag end. Overall I would recommend this bag and I would buy one again. The value is extremely good and the lovely stressed leather more than compensates for the workmanship, which is still good but not the best.

A fantastic bit of quality and leather craftsmanship. I bought it with a toilet bag couldn't be happier with both purchases, large storage and wonderful leather smells. I couldn't recommend these products more. 10/10

This may be a bit early to give a review of this bag as I only received it two days ago, but I can’t tell you how impressed I am by the seeming quality. The Leather is not only great looking but is thick, supple and most important of all smells nice! The Zips are about the best quality that you can get and the stitching is of great quality, is very neat and looks very strong. The lining is thick and very nicely tailored to the bag. There are two Zip compartments on the outside of the bag and a good size Zip compartment inside. The adjustable carrying strap supplied is again of very high quality as are the clips at each end which attach it to the bag. I feel confident that this bag will give many Years of service which all the other reviews seem to agree with. Not the cheapest bag by any stretch, but if you want quality and style buy this!!! Thoroughly recommend.

This bag is great! It’s well made! The leather is tough, nice & thick and well stitched. Bought it for my husband for travelling. He has already flung it in overhead baggage on the plane. He wears it with the strap across his body, and looks very stylish. The fastenings, zips, strap hooks etc. all really strong. I liked it so much I bought one for my brother as a 70th birthday present. He loved it! I highly recommended it too!

It’s difficult these days to know exactly how big a bag you can take on a plane as hand luggage. Well, not any more. This is the one. On a long haul this has enough room for all the essentials. That’s if those days ever come back! It’s very well built and looks classy too. One of the other features I liked was that it has a “road worn” look about it. It gives the impression it’s been your travel companion for years. There’s lots of individual zipped compartments too. I’ve not had it long enough to test the durability, so time will tell, but so far, I’m impressed!

A good quality leather bag with a careful attention to crafted details.

Bought this after reading the reviews. Completely mangled due to extremely tight packaging. The leather has creases that will not come out due to this. And the patina, what they have done to make this look old, is just terrible. It really looks like cheap plastic even though it is leather. And the leather is too thick. Look elsewhere.
