Better way to tap
What a game changer so much easier to run a small tap to cut threads or clean up damaged threads. I have only used the small one so far but I was impressed looking forward to try out the larger one.Much easier to control the tap using a ratchet well worth the money. These tap sockets are well made and come in a nice case to keep them together. Very happy with the purchase would highly recommend.

Great item. Works great.
Very handy items. Makes it easy to use a ratchet or battery powered tool, to tap holes or clean holes

Used with m5 tap int 1/4 steel
I should have bought this years ago. It is so much easier than anything else I’ve tried. I tried the taps the you can put in a dill to try to speed things up, but they just break so easily. I’ve been using this with a m5 tap into .25 in steel. Just be careful because you can put a lot more force with a ratchet than you can with one of the T handle ones. I just start reversing when I feel a significant amount of resistance, and then continue.

Work pretty well but not perfect.
These work well, but sometimes they are difficult to get tight and sometimes after use they require pliers to get loose.

Broke before using just a few times.
The wire-spring inside that pushes the jaws together broke after just a few hours of use (I opened and closed it less than 10 times). I didn't have a chance to use the tool until after my return window closed, so I can't get it replaced. It might just be a one time fluke, so if the company is willing to replace it, I'd be happy to change this review. But if they don't offer to replace it, I would suggest that anyone reading this select a different brand.

Did the job very well.
I had to tap 4 holes out of 8 for my plow mount that have been striped for awhile. I did the first hole on the outer side of the frame but when i tried to do the inner hole there was not enough room to turn the t handle and it was going in crooked and I tried a few times to get it straight but I ended up braking the tap in the hole. So I looked for some other way to do it and found this tap socket set on Amazon and new this was the way to go. I used the bigger one on the new tap with a 3/8 ratchet and pressed firmly on the ratchet with my palm and it made the new threads very easily. I was very lucky I was able to get the broken tap out of the whole without damaging it. So the set worked good for me and only time will tell how long they last.

Come a bit lose. Not sure for quality. But does the job. More stable on M10 and up.

You have to be careful using these as when you expand them the insides can come out and you have to reassemble. Otherwise they work fantastic for using taps on ratchets. Wish the jaws stayed inside but you can't have everything.

I use them a ton for bolt extraction and tapping occasionally. Haven't broken or made me think twice about the purchase. I usually pair it with a mini ratchet to quickly get bolts out gently. Small enough to toss in your pocket or toolbag and just forget about them til you need them.
