Its fast-acting permethrin and tetramethrin kill adult fleas on contact, while S-methoprene prevents eggs and larvae from developing for up to 7 months. Designed for whole-room saturation, it reaches hidden areas under furniture and cracks, providing hands-free, long-lasting flea control. Ideal for busy professionals seeking a thorough, no-fuss solution to keep homes and pets comfortably flea-free. ## Description From the manufacturer 4fleas Room Fogger How it Works 4Fleas Twin Fogger is a total‑release aerosol that saturates a closed room (≈35 m²) with a fine insecticidal mist . Permethrin and tetramethrin knock down adult fleas and other crawling pests on contact. S‑Methoprene (an Insect Growth Regulator) settles on surfaces to stop eggs and larvae developing for up to 7 months , breaking the life cycle and ensuring long-lasting protection. The fog reaches under furniture and into cracks sprays can miss, delivering a thorough, hands‑off treatment in one press. How to Use Vacuum first. Remove pets (cover fish tanks), extinguish flames, close windows. Place can on newspaper, centre of room, slightly raised. Press actuator until it locks; leave immediately and shut the door. Keep closed for 2 hours, then ventilate 30 minutes . One can treats ~35 m². Use one per room. Do not use on animals . Wipe food surfaces. Repeat only if heavy infestations persist. Key Features Whole Room Solution: Treats up to 35 m², reaching hidden areas Dual Action: Destroys adults; IGR halts eggs and larvae growth Long-Lasting: Up to 7 months protection against re‑infestation Simple Application: Set, press and leave; no hand spraying, low odour once aired Multi-Pest: Fleas, ants, cockroaches, silverfish, ticks, etc. Works With: Partner with Spot-On/Tablets for full flea control Fleas seldom stay where you can see them; 95% of the problem hides in carpets, soft furnishings and the gaps you rarely reach. Johnson’s 4Fleas Twin Fogger gives you a fast, all-over answer. Each can is a “one-shot” fumigator : trigger it, leave the room, and a penetrating mist disperses automatically, flooding every corner under sofas, behind skirting boards, and inside cupboards, all places a handheld spray might miss. The formulation combines immediate kill with long-term prevention. Permethrin and tetramethrin act quickly on adult fleas (and other crawling insects), disrupting their nervous systems so they die shortly after contact. At the same time S‑methoprene , an Insect Growth Regulator, settles invisibly onto treated surfaces. This mimics a juvenile hormone in insects, preventing flea eggs and larvae from maturing. The result: even if a few eggs survive today, they never become tomorrow’s biting adults. That protection endures for up to seven months , so one thorough treatment can see you comfortably through an entire flea season. Using the fogger is simple. After a preparatory vacuum (to wake pupae and lift debris), remove pets and cover/remove aquaria (fish are particularly sensitive) then place the can centrally - ideally raised for better dispersal. Lock the actuator and leave; the can empties itself in minutes, but the active ingredients requires two hours to settle and work undisturbed. A final 30‑minute airing clears the room of any residual mist, leaving no sticky film and virtually no lingering odour . Food-contact surfaces can be wiped as a precaution, but fabrics and carpets should be left so the IGR continues to do its job. Because the fogger only treats exposed surfaces, very heavy infestations may need a second application or a follow‑up with Johnson’s 4Fleas Household Spray Extra Guard in shaded areas beneath furniture. Crucially, always pair environmental control with on‑pet treatment : use 4Fleas Spot-On or Tablets so new fleas hitching a ride on your dog or cat are killed before they can lay more eggs. Treat all pets, vacuum regularly, and wash bedding to remove dead fleas and residual eggs. Johnson’s 4Fleas Twin Fogger is an easy, clinical-strength room treatment that tackles the visible problem and quietly prevents the next generation. Used as part of a coordinated programme, it helps ensure your home and your pets stay comfortably, consistently flea‑free. Review: After 24hrs there was significant progress - Update: 24hrs after using, have noticed a rapid decline in fleas. So whether needs time to finish them off, I'm not sure. But very pleased to not have to keep picking them off me. Been wearing knee high white socks so can see them, and don't irritate my skin. There are none gathering on my socks today. Thought would do the trick, but sadly not. Used all 6, but still the little critters remain. If anything, worse than before. Have tried nearly everything. Electric traps next. They don't leave a smell and the room clears quickly. But doesn't get rid of my fleas. Hope works for you.
