Best of Mad Libs: Over 125 Classic Mad Libs Stories Inside

Before buying this I had only ever played madlibs online by myself, a fun but not entirely engrossing experience. Playing madlibs with other people is incredibly good fun whether you're playing with kids or adults (especially with a few drinks in them). Some of the madlibs in this book are rather US-centric or a little dated, meaning that young children especially might be lost on the premise of a few of the stories but they still usually laugh their heads off at the nonsense of it all. This is a rather large package so ideal for home. It is about an inch thick and A4 in dimension so ideal for coffee tables but less so for travel. We have taken ours on two holidays though and it has kept us all entertained during airport waits, flights and long drives. Well worth the money, every family should own a madlibs book!

I have ordered this product before and ordered it again for a friend. Mad Libs are so fun to do and the dirtier the words you can come up with, the more hilarious the story. It's even fun for kids as I remember doing them as a kid. Great way to learn grammar too. Probably would be good for people learning to speak English.

Brilliant setups for amazing game easy to read and play madlibs

when i ordered the book i didn't think it would be as big as it was it's amazing played it with my 9 year old brother and it also has an explanation as to what a noun, adjective ..... etc is hand for if you don't know and to remind myself on one of the first few pages. such a fun game gave us the giggles.

Brilliant! I played these years ago and only remembered them recently. With 2 children going through SATS at the moment it seemed a great way to ensure they had the knowledge of grammar in a fun way. My son wasn’t convinced when he got it as a present, but after the first game loved them. Sheer, simple brilliance.

Great game to play in a group or with 2 people. player 1 has the book and fills in the page player 2 gives the words to fill in the blanks player 1 reads back the story while player 2 has a mouthful of water (or other liquid) try not to laugh or spit the water out... don't knock it until you try it - soooo funny

Even in the age of mobile phones and wlan I was able to get a group of kids ages 6 to 14 to spend hours playing mad libs! They had so much fun and laughed themselves silly! The younger ones needed some explainations of nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs as we went along, but only the first day! After that they “interviewed“ eachother and read the stories out loud every day of their own free will! Highly recommended for country vacations or silliness at home.

It's a lot of Mad Libs in one book, for a good price. It's obviously a bit bulky, but that doesn't really matter. Fun for the whole family!
