Why did I wait to buy this?I have hair a bit past my shoulders. It's super fine and chemically treated. It's also thinning and dry and brittle.I was hopeful this would be a solution for a hair style with more volume. I can never recreate what my stylist does. But this little guy is amazing.The heat setting is essential. I require the lowest setting. The timed beep is even better. While I do still count (ADHD) it helps for the times I get distracted.The waves stay all day. Unlike curling irons I don't have to worry about limp straight hair after a few hours. I don't even need to add spray to hold the waves all day. Sleeping with a silk bonnet helps keep a little of the wave and volume the next day.It also heats up very quickly so there isn't much wait time if you are in a rush. I can complete my hair in under 10 minutes. I assume thicker fuller hair would take more time.This was definitely worth the price.

I have short hair that doesn’t hold curl well and is difficult to style and I have recently purchased and tried other wavers but became frustrated and disappointed. I took a chance to purchase this waver after watching many videos and recommendations. I’m soo glad I did & have thrown out all of the others!! It’s the best by far & easy to for those like me who don’t really like to take a lot of time or efforts into the process. I love the timer feature & it’s adjustable as well, I was able to use it on my daughter and didn’t need to worry about damage to her hair. The only negative thing I could say was that I found it isn’t really cool to the touch as claimed, or that you could hold the waver or rest it against the skin and not worry about it being hot or burning you. In fact I found it to be hotter than I expected and was sure to use extra caution as I would with all hair styling tools when using it with my daughter but I was disappointed its claim of it being safe and not possible to burn someone.

I'm very happy with this wave maker! It creates beautiful waves quickly and easily, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I use it on a lower heat setting and usually don't leave it on my hair for the full 4 seconds—just to avoid any risk of damage. I do think it could burn hair if left too long on a high setting, so I definitely recommend starting with the lower heat and adjusting as needed.For reference, my hair is naturally fluffy and reaches about the middle of my back, and this tool works great for me. It’s fast, easy to use, and gives me the waves I want without a lot of effort. Highly recommend!

It defiantly takes a few tries to get it right but once you figure out using it I love the way it looks! I tried using it everyday for a week to learn how to use it and after day 3 it got so much better. I love how it has a timer so you know that you are holding the waves long enough. It gives me the most perfect beachy waves

I impulse bought this yesterday when a bunch of moms were talking about them at my kid’s book club and I might be overselling but I think it is the solution to my hair issues in general. Because my hair is naturally wavy but just not consistent, but if I straighten it or curl it I have to do the whole thing to make it look normal because the rest of my hair is neither curly or straight. But I just tried it for the first time and did literally 3 pieces in one minute and I think it looks wearable and normal. I’m very excited about it!

There is most definitely a learning curve to using this but once I got the hang of it, it went by pretty fast! My hair is just past my shoulders and it curled nicely! It held up really well for three days before I washed it. It didn't feel like it was too harsh on my hair so when I finished it was left soft and not frizzy. The iron itself is bulky but it's quite easy to hold and control.

This review is so hard to make because I clearly used the product and it came out SO GORGEOUS! I was in love and obsessed. The issue came a couple days after when I went to wash my hair and for the next couple of weeks after SEVERAL washes (and I mean like multiple shampoos and conditions in multiple shower sessions), my hair still had this awful, potent burnt smell. Even my husband couldn't stand it. I believe at this point as well that it has ruined the natural curl pattern in my hair. It now dries straight instead of slightly wavy and even a little curl! I used a heat protectant and hair oil (like I always do), and followed the instructions/tutorials. I've never had a new hair tool do this much damage to my hair and make it smell that bad. Super disappointed. It was so hard to return. I was really debating keeping it, but the smell and damage it did to my natural hair outweighed trying it again. I hope this helps someone else!

This thing is amazing! Ive always used a 3 barrel iron and my hair always gets frizzy and dry looking. This tool did just the opposite. My hair is shiny and silky. I have hair below my shoulder blades and it’s thick but fine. It took me 12 minutes to do all of it. Also, I am on day 4 and it’s still wavy and pretty! Definitely give it a try. It’s worth it weight in gold!
