Sensitive Skin and Stomach Dog Food Wet Classic Pate Salmon and Rice Entrée - (Pack of 12) 13 oz. Cans

My dog has a sensitive stomach and this stuff works great. No upset tummy, no itching, and he actually eats it without turning his nose up. The salmon and rice mix smells decent (for dog food) and the texture is smooth—easy to mix with kibble or serve on its own. The portions are just right for one meal, and the pack lasts a good while. I like that it’s made for skin and stomach issues but still has real ingredients. If your pup needs something gentle but still tasty, this is a solid pick.

Nov. 2025 UPDATE.... this food is amazing for my 10yr old Siberian Husky & 17 mo puppy! It is great alternative a few times a week with their digestive issues! I highly recommend this food for dogs with digestive issues, gas & diarrhea! My dogs have been using this food for the last 60 days with great results! I NEVER had a dog that was a picky eater until I got a red field golden retriever! All my other dogs were gobblers! My 15mos old red field golden retriever has a sensitive stomach & picky eater since she was 3mos old. I have tried many different brands of sensitive dog food in the past year; she loves this combination! I even tried Blue Buffalo Blissful Belly, Fresh Pet & Farmers dog; she walked away from the food? So far Purina Pro Plan Sensitive stomach dry & wet food are my girl's favorite... when she does decide to eat. Perhaps it is the seafood base?

While still incredibly processed, I used this as a topper on the kibbles and it worked to engender enthusiasm. It seems to have ingredients for your puppy's health, and if you can't afford freeze-dried on a daily basis, this helps. Easy to use. Try one can first as dogs can be picky. I stored open in the fridge, which lasted for a whole week for us.

I have an older dog and I noticed she started having tummy issues with her regular food she’d been eating for years. After trying a few different foods for her, I finally figured out the right combination. She uses this canned food along with a prescription dry food. I have another older dog that uses both this dry and canned food and she has no issues. I recommend for any dog with sensitive tummy issues.

I’ve never fed my dogs canned Purina ProPlan before, but read amazing things about this variety for skin issues so I thought I’d give it a try. I’ve purchased just about every other brand of canned dog food over the last 8 years for my boys so I’ve seen a lot. This is the most disgusting canned food I’ve ever seen. It’s grey slop. The rest of the case will be donated, my boys aren’t eating this unidentifiable material Purina calls food. It does not smell or look like food.

Not sure why my dog developed an aversion to this food. I was on subscription and had to cancel because he started acting finicky about it and experienced some digestive issues. I'm trying some remedies with vet guidance. Probably nothing to do with the food.

I think the consistency is too mushy. It’s more like a cat food. My dog didn’t seem to know how to eat it. She kept trying to pick some up with her teeth but it was too soft. She got fed up and just tried to turn her dish over every time. I mixed in some hard food and that seemed to help.
