I really like this rod I like how they give you an extra rod tip so in case you break yours, you’re still good to go. I like the hook holder on the side away from the main line so I don’t get tangled when I try to remove it I love the color it’s been through a lot my first tip hasn’t broken it’s very light and easy to move around I like the corkscrew grip with the dark green and it’s very good rod.

Just received this Spartacus rod - affordable, shipped fast, packed even better - 3 pcs (main rod and 2 tips) inside a long plastic bag with foam for tip protection inside a sturdy cardboard tube with secure ends inside a beefy cardboard box - not used yet (will update later) but it has nice balance a great color a secure reel seat and a very comfortable cork handle .. I paired this rod up with the Spartacus reel - this rod is very very bad a$$ looking as well - I've purchased other Kastking products (reels, line, pliers .. ) and all affordable and dependable products and the best customer service people I've ever come across You know you want it so c'mon and just do it

Threw my trusty old mitchell 300x reel on it and just grabbed 2 decent bass one that bent my spinner and the pole handled it great Added a video of another bass. Very tough pole

Love this rod but, the fifth day fishing with it, it snapped on the detachable part of the rod in a way that left me confused as I haven’t put any serious weight on it(10Lb line) nor any heavy lures and lost the fish with it when it broke, maybe that’s why it came with an extra detachable end…

This is not a brand X combo. Good price and good quality. Casts well and drag is smooth. Outstanding purchase for that weekend fisherman and those just starting out. Highly recommended.

Very light rod. Easy to cast. It has a great feel in the handle. Seats for your forefinger and thumb make a comfortable addition to this rod. The lure keeper has a unique configuration on the side of the handle that makes it easy to hold your lure aside when not needed. Lastly, it comes with an extra rod tip. Casting with this rod is certainly easy enough.

Great rods. Well balanced and have a great flex point to eye alignment to the spine of the rod. I like the hook holder, very solid, great idea to make it part of the reel seat. Great job.
