Not only is the odor hard to put up with, but ammonia is noxious to the human body. Thus, it is highly recommended to keep away from this odor. Why Smart Pee Pee ? The average man urinates standing up, causing urine to splash everywhere. Nearly invisible drops of urine can comes to rest on any of your bathroom necessities (toothbrushes, cups, toothpaste, etc). Given suitable conditions in temperature, moisture, and nutrition, urine can be a breeding ground for germs. It causes an odd odor and threatens the health of your family. High speed cameras prove that urine splashes everywhere while a person urinates standing up. Although we constantly clean the toilet and floor, the odor can still exist in the restroom. It is virtually impossible to remove all urine particles, which spreads everywhere in the restroom: the floor, walls, and even on the ceiling. Review: Better than expected... - The trick is to add two lanyards- A normal badge lanyard to go around your neck, connected to an adjustable face-mask lanyard that connects with clips to the No-Splash. Adjust the face-mask lanyard to the desired length. Hang it around your neck and you really don't have to hold the funnel, but the handle is there if you need to get it in position. The lanyard really helps in the middle of the night also. Another huge help is to place a clear plastic 3M hook at just the right height above the toilet, so the lanyard is always within quick reach, and leaving the tip just above the water, or in the water, when not in use. The hook makes it super quick to take the lanyard off your neck, and then to "flush" the funnel as well. See 2nd photo; in the cabinet I keep an easy grip bottle of water and a spray bottle of Mrs Meyers multi surface cleaner. After I hang the funnel back up, I quickly pour the water down the funnel and then spray the cleaner into the funnel last so the cleaner is working on any residue. Then I refill the water bottle, and optionally flush a second time. All that takes about 10 seconds, but now the funnel and bathroom smells a tiny bit like the Mrs Meyers cleaner (and I change the scent every couple of months, or not.) The No-Splash stays on the hook until next time (every 2 hrs in my case), but if someone needs to sit down, they simply lift the lanyard off the hook, without touching the funnel, and place the funnel into the stand, which is out of sight behind the door. There is no drip when moving the funnel to the stand because it has probably been hanging there for awhile. If there was a drip while moving it behind the door, then it was a drop of Mrs Meyers cleaner, so no worries. p.s. I use the MIFFLIN Flat badge lanyard which includes the hook, and the "Specialist ID" Facemask lanyard because it has great clips that will hold the funnel securely. Ok, I also have a motion light below the cabinet that comes on automatically when I walk in at night. That helps cause I still want to "flush" the funnel in the middle of the night. I flush the funnel, and spray it, every time that I use the funnel.

When I'm half-asleep I really have trouble aiming, so this prevents that problem. Cleaning it? Well, each morning while I'm waiting for the shower to get warm, I rinse it and the base. And every few days I put a bit of shampoo in first. No problems, no smell. And my wife and I both appreciate the easier cleaning in my bathroom. The only thing I would change is that the top could be smaller. I'm not trying to fit much in there, just the end. It would make it easier to store in a small bathroom.

A: I ordered one for my husband...he is incontinent and older and has problems urinating directly into the toilet.....when I saw this...I thought wow...no more pee on the floor....yes indeed and that is what happened. he uses it when he has to pee and then puts it back into the holder...very easy...because of the holder...he washes it out every week...simple...pours some water and Clorox into both and rinses it out....that is it....no smells...wonderful....it fits together just like a toilet brush and holder...its up high enough for him to grab it and go....lovely....price is worth it....

A: 1. not a simple long neck. There is no long funnel-like Smart pee-pee. It's the engineering behind technically hard to make.

4. Parts involved are not just the funnel but the base and brush which all factor in the cost as well.
5. massive investment in developing an efficient and helpful product with a niche market not broad.

**Q: What size /measurements of the funnel.  How wide and long is it to fit between the legs?**
A: The device is roughly 6" in diameter (round cup) and about 22" long.  I'm not sure why you're asking about the device fitting between the legs.  It is designed for men/boys who are standing up to pee into toilet bowl. I don't see it being practical for a man to use it between his legs while sitting down.  It works well as long as men/boys can direct their flow into the cup while holding the device.
