Sounds great and definitely gives that old string synth vibe
Amazon has had some great sale prices on this and it's definitely worth it at those prices if you want that 70's Solina sound in a hardware device. Really happy with my purchase.

it's very well made and compact .
came in fast. works well with a keyboard. I wish it was stereo. they did a good job of getting the original in a small and affordable package.

Classic Sound
Very satisfying with the easily recognizable sounds of yesteryear. Extremely limited pallet of sounds, but what it can do are fantastic.

The original Solina reincarnated
Wow! The wait was so absolutely worth it. Purchased the Behringer Solina earlier this year when it was on sale for a super ridiculously low price. Then the wait started - I was even asked if I wanted to cancel my order due to the unforeseeable delays.Well, since I wasn’t in a particular rush, I decided to “wait”.Received it last month and had a chance to take it through its paces extensively. At the end of the day, every single time I play it I can’t stop smiling excessively. This Solina produces EXACTLY the sounds that I was hoping for - I’m a Floyd head and I’m happy to report that the Behringer Solina delivers the original sounds as found in the Wish You Were Here and Animals albums to the T.Craftsmanship, tone quality and features are amazing! At the ridiculously low price (even today, while it’s not on the “intro sale” anymore) it is a total no-brainer.Alternatively, you could get yourself a laptop and an Arturia Solina V plugin. But at that time, you spent multiple times of what the Behringer Solina sets you back. And it’s super easy to dial in the sounds you want absolutely on the fly. Analog tone heaven at its best!!!On top of that, as a side note, I am using the Solina in tandem with a Behringer Poly D…No further comments require I suppose.

Works great after firmware update
When I got this new it wouldn't work with my M-AUDIO midi controller. After applying the firmware patch it works fine. Great polyphonic synth for the money and makes great sounds, just wish it worked out of the box.

It's as amazing as I'd hoped
Smooth, mellow, and delightful. Its main appeal is the simplicity though. It's nice to be able to punch a few buttons and get the exact sound you're after without having to screw with endless settings.

"That sound" If you need it.
I literally VHB taped my Solina to the top of my Pro-800 when I felt how light it was. Any heavier and that would be risky. They should probably do a package deal or potentially a full blown combo considering how well they work together. I made a little patch bay next to it so I can route things to it's effects. They are SO GOOD. HOW is this is best sounding phaser I have now? I could argue the phaser and modulation inputs alone make this thing worth it. For me, it's value is its original intended purpose. Throwing environmental chords into a mix like Pink Floyd or Faith No More. I had been using the Pro-800 for this. Now it's free to be itself. If only to free up your Pro-800 so it can do something more meaningful, it's worth it.
