I purchased a pack of 3 over a year ago and these still last. In my opinion, two capsules are only needed maybe the first two weeks to a month or so to really front load the cfu's into your body. Otherwise in my experience, as long as one maintains a healthy lifestyle, 1 capsule a day or every other day is all that needed. I'd say the overwhelming majority of my life I had issues with bloating. With these capsules a part of my health regimen, prolonged bloating really isn't an issue. Even after the occasional hearty meal, some good sleep and a capsule or two the bloat is gone. Great buy!!!

WARNING: Don't read if you are faint of heart!Full disclosure, I didn't realize this was made by a local company when I purchased these. It's made in the town right outside of my hometown! Super cool, but did not impact my review in anyway.Swallowing: They are small enough that swallowing is pretty easy. When I start a new probiotic, I tend to take 8-10 of them to jump start things, and then maintain things by taking 1 probiotic in AM and PM each day.Cost: The probiotic I used to take (50 billion CFU, but 23 strains) was good, but got pricey for the potency. I decided to try this brand on a whim as the price for the potency was unbeatable.Before 1st Dose: The last few weeks since I hadn't had a probiotic, I have had some issues with the restroom. Things were not moving particularly well, and it felt like it was "sticky". Somedays I wouldn't do anything at all. I also felt bloated and just overall blah.Performance after initial dose: I took 10 for a starter dose to blast my gut with probiotics. After that first dose, the difference was instantly recognizable. The following morning, I was able to fully empty out and it wasn't "sticky" like it wasn't wanting to evacuate. My bloating was almost 100% gone. I can definitely tell there was a beneficial/positive effect. I don't have long term performance to comment on, but I can say that in the short term, it immediately alleviated some of my most pressing issues.Will I buy this product again? Yes, because the value, and performance are clear. Also, I like to support local! I'll likely buy the 4 pack option to get even more value. Not sure why more probiotics don't offer bulk pricing. I get that there is a time limit on effectiveness of probiotics, but what if I want to get my family a 4 pack so we can all benefit?Would I recommend this product? Yes, I'll likely evangelize it as a great supplement, but it's not a cure. Don't replace regular medical care and doctor visits with probiotics. Probiotics are just another tool in your belt of overall wellness.

I feel better when taking it and its just enough of all the ones you seem to need without over doing it at least at my age of 73 and things seem to be changing inside my body so you're always looking for ways to make each day as good as possible

Good variety and good quantity of probiotics, for a decent price. No discernible taste. No side effects. Very pleased.

It is not as effective as another brand.

By day five I could already tell a difference in bloating and gas discomfort. I have suffered for years and have been treated twice for h-pylori. I am approaching my 3rd week now and have lost 4 1/ 2 - 5 pounds without even trying. I should add that I’m using this probiotic along with B-complex vitamins and though weight loss was not my intention..... I’ll take it!! To be honest, I wasn’t holding any high hopes for this probiotic but now.... I’ll never be caught without a supply on hand! I would give the this probiotic 10 stars if possible. I’m amazed at the amount of unhealthy toxins my gut has been holding on to. Not to be gross but I’m saving enough money on bathroom air freshener to pay for these probiotics, lol. I would highly recommend this probiotic for men to anyone suffering with gut issues.
