I bought this for my wife while she was battling cancer and wanted something to take her temperature while caregiving for her, but allowed her to continue to sleep. This has the disadvantage of being a no-touch, so keep in mind your reading the skin temperature NOT the internal.If you're reading this, I would encourage you to get this as it's amazing, but ensure you take your own temperature before reading your intended target to get a relative reading on them. This always reads me 97.5F and +/- .2F usually. Meanwhile the under-the-tongue thermometer reads 98.2F which is more accurate overall.

I’ve been using the iHealth PT3 Infrared No-Touch Forehead Thermometer for a while now, and overall, it’s an excellent device for quick, hygienic temperature checks.What I like:The contactless operation is perfect for keeping things sanitary, especially when checking multiple people’s temperatures.It gives results in just one second, which is super convenient when dealing with kids or busy mornings.The design is sleek and modern, and the LED display is clear and easy to read, even from a distance.The silent mode is a thoughtful touch—it lets me take readings without waking anyone up.What could be better:Sometimes, I get slightly inconsistent readings if I don’t hold it at the right distance, so it takes some getting used to.It’s limited to forehead readings, which might not be ideal for those who prefer multifunction thermometers.It doesn’t connect to an app for logging temperatures, which could be a nice feature for tracking over time.

Very accurate whether used on forehead or skin.

This is an inaccurate terrible excuse for a thermometer. It doesn’t read consistently and within the space of three readings, one after the other, it will sometimes give three different readings. The only value it might have to you is any catharsis you may gain from destroying it.
