Golden paints are the best. Highly pigmented and easy to work with The open range has an extended drying time so you can go back and rework the paint up to four days later. I bought these paints to create my first commissioned painting and the buyer loved the way the colours popped.

Excellent for printmaking. Does what it says. The paint stays open for a good while giving time for manipulating prints.

FANTASTIC PAINT. I am an oil painter & struggle working with acrylic due to fast drying speed, I know there are additives u can add to slow drying, but they do not work the same as the slow drying, as u can see from photo I have tried the regular acrylic with additives also, but it does not compare!I Is far superior, feels similar to the water soluble oil paints if that’s the finish your going for! And stays wet in an airtight pallets for days!

These paints have a slower drying time which produces better prints for use with a gel plate.

Great starter set with good basic colours

I bought these paints specifically for use with the gelli-plate as ordinary acrylics dry too quickly. They really do stay usable for much longer to allow for thought in placing masks etc. They are very expensive but worth the money.

I have tried using acrylic paint but always found it dried so quickly I couldn't blend it. When I read about the Golden Open acrylics I thought I would try them and Indeed they do stay pliable for much longer and are easier to blend. So far I'm enjoying trying them out.
