NorproRolling Pin, 18-Inch

Warped and uneven, would not roll out a thin dough with any consistency. Returned.

I've been looking forever for a pin that's about this size and shape - not as long and skinny as the traditional french pins, but not so short that it'll be useless on piecrust. I was psyched when I saw this and it was relatively cheap. But, the wood is very unfinished and ragged - I'm going to have to sand it down and oil it really well before I try to use it, which is fine I suppose, but not quite what I was expecting.

Love it, it’s great for rolling cookie dough.

This pin needs a good sanding before using, and until I do that, I don't even know if it is a HARD maple. From my perspective, it should be ready to roll upon arrival, it isn't.
