I've found that different size nibs make ink look different than you might want. So, with these you can change the nib size until the ink comes out the color you expected. Otherwise, a pen might get set aside due to a bad combo. The black coating on the nib looks sharp, and adds an extra glide to the nib. I'm glad I have these on hand.

The 3 nibs arrived tuned & ready to use. Finish & look is pretty good. They're not very expressive (i.e. minimal line variation & feedback) but they write quite well for an inexpensive, steel nib. The nib units also fit my Narwhal / Nahvalur pens which was mentioned in a review but wasn't cited in the seller's description.

I got them for the nibs, wanting an economical way to try my hand as custom grinding, but was pleasantly surprised to find the housings are identical to those used in my Narwhal pen. The nib I tried first worked, but worked even better after flossing with a bit of .0002" brass shim, and a quick cleaning. No additional tuning required.

These worked for me. The ink flows as in the original (a medium nib). Worth buying vs buying a new pen with a fine nib.

Asvine makes excellent nibs. That's all I really have to say about them.

Smooth as butter, beautiful wet writers, and easy to install in my Asvine P20.

These nibs fit the pen (Asvine v126) perfectly and write well. I bought the fine nibs, and I've heard people say that they are closer to medium, but it seems to me that it's more that they are wetter than other fine nibs (Bock for example, with different housings). That wetness is worth noting for others. It works for me, but may not for others.

The nibs where terrible. The medium one was very dry and skipping, the extra fine one was very scratchy and the fine one also skipped when writing. Very disappointed but what can you do.

I've purchased several Asvine pens with fine tip nibs over the past while. Sometimes we have different needs, med nibs are easy to change over , offering a wider line. It helps keep the pens you like in service longer. It works for me.
