Cute for little hands
This is a Christmas in July gift for my niece. Great, small camera for small hands. There pictures, video and game options. It's easy to navigate. The cable we received did not work but the seller has very good communication and remedied the issue. **UPDATE: Batter power lasts awhile! My niece loved this gift. Great investment.

Great starter kid's camera
A fun, basic, children's starter camera. It would be great as a gift, and takes decent pictures. It's not going to rival the photos and quality and higher color accuracy of a DSLR or even your high-end smartphone but it's still great. It's solidly built, too, so it should be able to take some bumps. Good size for kids! Great value as a gift.

Adorable little camera that would make a great gift for any child
This camera is soo cute! When my daughter opened it up we both said, "Awww!" The little puppy on the front is adorable and the color (purple) is perfect as it is my daughter's favorite! It's very interesting though in that the camera itself is sitting inside a sort of soft plastic "cover" that has the puppy dog on it. So the camera itself is plain but the cover is what it sits in and that is what has the puppy dog on it. Nothing wrong with this but just a very interesting way to design it. I don't think the camera will fall out. It fits pretty securely inside. The cover is what has the strap attached to it. Not sure why they designed it this way? It probably helps with manufacturing as you can just insert the camera into whatever cover it needs to be in. My daughter is 8 and she can work the buttons and features well. It took a little getting used to for her. She did comment that it wasn't a touch screen and I have to admit that was a little disappointing. I wish it was a touch screen as maneuvering through the buttons is a bit of a challenge. You have to press the power button in some cases to get out of screens which kind of throws you off because that doesn't seem intuitive. You download the pictures by plugging the camera into a computer. I'm not if you could save them to a phone and view them? The games are cute and fun. I even enjoy playing them. My daughter loves taking pictures and video with this camera. Sure she can do these things with her tablet but sometimes just having and using a camera is best for when you go on nature walks or to family get-togethers, etc. It's really a great gift for a child for their birthday or Christmas. It's pretty guaranteed that most kids won't have an actual camera nowadays. So it would be the perfect gift for any kid! :)

Cute Kids camera with protective case
I bought this for my granddaughter who is 2. Her sister is almost 4. She has the Ozmi camera that came without the protective case with all the same features at a price point of $10 less. Both cameras are identical in their features other than the case and strap. Same photo effects, same buttons, same size. etc. My 4yr old granddaughter can easily take pictures with the camera. Her younger sister can too, is a little less coordinated at it but that may just be from lack of use. They both love to take walks and take pictures with their cameras and is a great size for them. We have not printed out any pictures so I can't vouch for the pixel quality but the view on the screen is adequate. The pictures posted to this review are of the 2 yr old for scale. 1. Packaged very nicely. The camera arrived as pictured and with all the accessories as advertised. True to color as pictured in the advertised item. She loved the color and the dog on the front. Her sister was little disappointed that the camera she already had did not have a cute case when she saw the purple dog. 2. I like the cord for carrying the camera which prevents small children from dropping it. Note: I like the clips for this cord better than the Ozmi camera for my 4yr old granddaughter which was $10 less than this camera. 3. I like the super cute protective case. I think it will help with accidental bumps and drops when she is not using the cord and it covers the sides of the camera where the memory card is. Note: The less expensive $10 version does not have this case and my 4yr old granddaughter is on her 2nd camera in a year. If you think the protective case is worth the additional $10, spring for it unless you want to go with the warranty. Asurion protection plan is offered at $3.99 for 2 yrs or $5.99 for 3 yrs. IF offered on the Ozmi model, you could skip the protective case (it is VERY cute tho) and go with the warranty. I have not thoroughly read the warranty coverage or it's exclusions. I gave it a light read and it appears to be a good plan that covers drops, cracked screen etc. As with any warranty, you should read it thoroughly to see if it suits your needs. 4. Both girls LOVE taking pictures with their cameras and it saves me from letting them use my phone :) They can each take pictures with the camera but beyond taking pictures and scrolling through the effects, they are not able to view photos on the memory card or delete them at such a young age. That is a bit involved to do. An older child may be able to manage but even as an adult, I found it more involved. 5. The buttons are rather small and not the most user friendly for manipulating. Example: If you are scrolling through the effects and fail to stop on the effect you want, you have to continue pressing the forward button through all the effects till the desired effect comes back around. Not a huge deal but a bit annoying. You can see the firefighter frame effect in the photo I posted. Be careful deleting photos from the card. It is easy to wipe out all the photos and not just the selected one if you get going too fast. 6. It would be nice if you could view all photos on the memory card on screen and select just the ones for deletion at one time. You cannot. You have to delete each one individually or all of them. But at this price point, it may be expected. I have not shopped other cameras to compare that feature. Bottom line: If you're looking for a kids camera at a decent price point that can take selfies, videos, pictures, has screen effects, etc., this is a good option. You may want to go with the Ozmi model or another lesser expensive model (not sure if they have one with the case) that offers the warranty (If the warranty covers what you need it to. I highly suggest reading through any warranty to be sure it's effective for your needs).
