I'm not a huge Ps5 user but I have a few games I play & I have a PlayStation plus account so I'm finding that space is an issue the longer I have my Ps5. With my Ps4 I can just use an external HD as extra storage & not worry, no such quick fix here. Sure an external HD works but you can play games direct from it, you have to move things around so that whatever game your playing is stored on your Ps5. This fixes that. Just fit it as per the instructions or watch an online video on the topic, put the cover on, Power up & the Ps5 does the rest. Simple to do - no real technical knowledge needed - just a screwdriver for tools & away you go. Not had any reliability issues, the heat sink keeps everything cool & as a bonus its one-off the best value for money versions you can get. 1tb is all most casual gamers will need, if you play more then 2tb but I doubt you need any more than that. You make sure you if the included heat sink & thermal strips.

Bought this to replace my failing main HDD drive. It was easy and actually pretty fun to install, functions instantly and can immediately see the difference in my PC's speed. Important however. If you are looking to install this as your primary system driver (wanting your computer to run on it with it's OS and such), but don't know how to, I recommend PCGamesN's video (YouTube) on installing an OS to the drive. You'll need a flash drive with at least 8gb of available space. I cannot comment on the longevity yet, but it seems like it'll be running my pc and providing a nice bit of storage for a while to come. Nice bit of tech, I greatly recommend for the price. (Always remember to backup your important files to another drive just in case the worst happens!)

I have never heard of the Fikwot brand before, so there always feels like there is a bit of risk in trying out a new product from an unknown source. At the price this was going for however it was substantially cheaper than the competitors and I thought I would give it a try. So glad I did. I have had it for two months now, and it has worked flawlessly. Installed easily. No issues setting it up. PC recognised the drive straight away. I have been hammering it with data transfers and it has remained stable with transfer speeds as advertised in the specifications. It doesnt get hot at all. It is being used for storing all of those huge downloads that games need nowadays. No longer will I have to delete older games so that I can install the new AAA blockbuster that comes along. I wont feel any issues with ordering another from this brand if I should need to.

I've been using the drive around 6 months now and wanted to do some testing before reviewing as far to often drives fail earlier then expected well this drive has gone beyond all my expectations. To start performance is great around 3500mbps read and 2200mbps write which is more then adequate, installing is as easy as any other m.2 1 screw and your good to go, the drive feels the same weight and quality as my 970pro the actual usable storage capacity in my case was 484gb which is acceptable for a 512gb drive actually 3gb more then my 970pro overall very happy and am going to order a 2tb version to put my games on

Great price & storage for a PS5, complete with everything you need EXCEPT instructions. I dont expect this matters in a PC or laptop. So for the PS5 I used a thick piece of the pad on the base, then the SSD, then a thin piece between the SSD & the top cover. If you line it all up at the securing screw end JUST leaving enough room for the spacer the connection end will be ok. The top cover then snaps in (don`t slide it as it will pick up on the silicon pad) but do not be too close to the connection end as you can`t get the angle to insert the assembled SSD. I did find I could slide the top cover back slightly to allow install as I was initially too close. Read speed test was just under 5K but PS5 is quite happy.

First and foremost, great ssd WHEN IT WORKED. It was fast, transfer speeds of up to 7000mb/s, however, my first issue was when windows refused to download to the ssd as it didn't recognise it. When it did eventually work after 6 hours of faffing about it was great, 2 months later and I'm constantly getting data corruption. My files get corrupted, apps stop loading and windows starts to become buggy. I'm certain it's the ssd as after reinstalling windows it worked briefly then began to corrupt the os after a reboot. Rather buy a hdd that actually stores the data properly than a fast ssd with a short lifespan. Not recommended.

Buen disco duro a buen precio para colocar dentro de tu ps5 y así correr juegos contenidos en él tanto de ps4 como de ps5... fácil de colocar, solo tienes que buscar un poco por Youtube para saber como hacerlo. Lo único es que no te explica muy bien como colocarlo en el disipador de calor que trae, pero bueno, ya os digo yo que se coloca una pegatina gris abajo y el blanco arriba. Al principio me tiraba para atrás que su velocidad estaba por debajo de la que PlayStation recomienda, pero tengo que decir que por ahora, está trabajando sin dificultad, ni tirones, ni nada que no hiciese con el juego instalado en el original que trae la PS5. Así que de momento, todo son ventajas, he pillado el de 2TB. que en precio era el más asequible, que en el momento de la compra eran unos 92€. Dada mi experiencia hasta la fecha, si lo recomendaría. Xao!!

Die SSD ist unglaublich schnell. Dank der PCIe Gen4 x4 Schnittstelle und NVMe 1.4 Technologie sind die Lese- und Schreibgeschwindigkeiten beeindruckend. Egal ob ich große Videodateien bearbeite oder Spiele lade, alles funktioniert ohne Verzögerung. Das macht den Arbeitsalltag deutlich angenehmer. Was mir besonders gefällt, ist der integrierte Kühlkörper. Selbst bei intensiver Nutzung bleibt die Temperatur stabil, was für eine lange Lebensdauer sorgt. Die Installation war kinderleicht, und mein System hat die SSD sofort erkannt, sodass ich direkt loslegen konnte. Der Preis ist zwar nicht der niedrigste, aber für die gebotene Leistung und Kapazität finde ich ihn absolut gerechtfertigt.
