⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent 5.1 home theatre – true cinema experience Using Obage CA-1 with my PC in proper 5.1 configuration and the performance is impressive. Surround separation is very good, dialogues are clear, and bass is deep and controlled. Movies and games feel immersive, not artificial. Build quality is solid and tuning options allow proper room-based setup. With correct placement and settings, it delivers a true cinema-like experience. Definitely one of the best 5.1 systems in this price range. Highly recommended.

My previous home theater system (Zebronics Zeb Juke Bar 9400 Pro Dolby 5.1) got faulty, and after a lot of online research, comparisons, and keeping budget in mind, I decided to go with the Obage 5.1. Honestly, I’m glad I did. My comparison is based on my previous home theater system- Pros: 🎵 Sound Quality: Super clear vocals, with bass that’s punchy but never overwhelming. 🎬 Movie Experience: Feels very close to a real theater setup. Even regular TV shows sound better than before. 🎶 Stereo Effect: The different frequency output from each corner is very noticeable, giving a truly immersive surround effect. 📱 Bluetooth Music: Excellent sound quality and volume for music playback — no complaints at all. Cons: 🔊 Volume in Large Rooms: For movies, the max volume can feel a bit low in bigger spaces (might be due to combined TV + system volume limits). 🔌 HDMI Switching: Sometimes I need to restart the system to get the HDMI input recognized — it doesn’t always switch automatically. Overall: The Obage 5.1 is a fantastic home theater system for the price. Amazing stereo separation, clear dialogue, and punchy bass make it a big upgrade. It’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for powerful, high-quality entertainment at home.

This speaker set delivers on quality, no doubt on that. It takes movie watching experience to a whole new dimension...if you have a large room/hall you will feel like watching movie in a theater. Vocals are crisp and clear, bass is punchy (and not boomy like Logitech). Few points worth mentioning :- 1> Keep front left/right/center speakers close to ear level 2> Rear speakers can be kept at a height as well, but should be pointed down towards listener 3> There should be adequate space between left/right speakers 4> Sub should preferably be placed on floor, and there should be some gap with back wall (since this is back firing) My setup :- 1> Initially connected TV HDMI eARC output to sub, however even after increasing volume to max (32) the sound seemed feeble for my 12x20 feet hall. The quality was satisfactory, but the loudness seemed inadequate!! I tried with optical out from tv, same result!! (please note I had increased individual front/center/rear volumes in remote as well) 2> Now lets talk about surround sound...this is what we have bought the speaker for, right? Well, I was disappointed to find that the set was not delivering 5.1 surround sound through PCM...I tried several YT clips but the rear speakers were not producing sound. In short, the set was delivering quality sound, but the above issues was not letting me enjoy to fullest. I had to do some research, and decided to invest in a decoder. Something not too expensive, and I had two options...Geestar and Futech. Both seemed similar, so went with lower priced Futech. Voila...both the above issues seemed to be sorted, what more could I ask for? I also got to know that these two are a popular choice with many who buy Obage CA1, probably for same reasons as mine. Also, there are people for whom loudness and PCM have seemed to work, unfortunately not for me and I had to invest extra! Additional info :- I also invested in 16AWG copper wires for extension of rear speakers/speaker wall mount stand/wall brackets for my setup; also the plastic mounts at the back of speakers(for hanging from wall) seemed feeble so replaced these with metal ones. In addition, one also needs to buy RCA/hdmi/optical cables etc depending on how they want to connect. I have not used Bluetooth/FM/USB so far, so cannot comment on how good(or bad) these work. The remote(though bit tacky) seems to perform its duties well; you can adjust individual/total volumes as well as treble and bass, along with mode of input. For some strange reason the bass and volume levels remain at the level you put them(even after restart) but the treble always seems to reset to 0 level! Another minor issue I should mention is before connecting the decoder, I was unable to use TV remote to modify volume. Tip: It is highly recommended to invest in additional subwoofer(SSW-1) to further elevate your movie watching experience Final Verdict : Must buy for movie lovers (with decent budget), you will thank me later.

Ordered the CA1 and got it delivered. The sound was good and am satisfied with the quality of product. However after crossing the burndown period of speakers they started making hissing noise continuously from all speakers including woofer even when not playing music. While playing music it causes more hissing noise and stops after 3-4 seconds of stopping the music. This is irritating as the sound system is supposed to work perfectly at this segment. Approached Amazon customer care, they say it should be taken care from manufacturer Obage as per their policy. Approached Obage, they keep me pending for days together without any resolution. I'm worried now that the return window is also getting expired. I'm little skeptical about new indian brand to established brand. I saw customer care isn't responsive but I feel I'm trapped with this product without any proper solution. Suggestions To obage. Please invest on support and give better support. Product seems to be good, support has to be good also. To Amazon. Enforce policies on manufacturers to resolve within timelines especially in return window. To customers. Nothing much, just keep your fingers crossed and pray to God that you wont get a defective product and won't get malfunctioned later. Update after 10 days of delivery. After several followups with customer care, they assigned a technician. The technician doesn't visit the location even after several calls. I'm in Hyderabad. He seems to be working as per ticket based and working in other service centers also. This isn't a priority for him for the amount Obage pays them. My take on this. Basically we will be locked once the item is delivered. Also as this is newly launched Obage has to test it very well and release the item to customers. Don't ever venture out with cost effective products the service will be for what you have paid. They work good till they get any repairs. If they get repair, you are on your own. Obage have responded and is working to fix the issue. I will keep posted on this once it is resolved. Support is slow but they are helpful in resolving the issue to the best.

I recently buyed this obage ca1 system. the system is amazing. it is worth buying it. Sound quality is very good. my detailed review is as follows. 1.) Sound quality - sound quality of the system is amazing, the bass is clear and punchy. mids are good. highs are also clear because every satelite speakers contain one tweeter speaker . It never produce any kind of irritating noise or show any distortion while playing content even at maximum volume. Over all sound quality of the system is amazing . The surround speakers working properly. channel separation is good that's why I am getting a good surround effect but it is virtual surround sound. For true surround sound (Dolby digital) I will buy an external decoder in few weeks then I will write a review about that. 2.) Build quality - Build quality of the system is very good. the subwoofer and all satellite speakers enclosures are made of wooden material. That's why I am getting a Quality sound. Wire length of the satelite speakers is long enough. wire Quality of the satelite speakers is also very good. 3.) Connectivity - the connectivity options impressed me because it has HDMI arc port as well as other connectivity options like bluetooth, aux 2.1 , aux 5.1 ,USB etc. I have connected it to my tv via HDMI arc port , sound quality is awesome through HDMI cable I loved it , I have also played a lot of songs via bluetooth also and sound quality is good but compared to hdmi sound quality. it is low ( only if I compared sound quality between blutooth and hdmi ) I didn't try other connectivity options. In few weeks I will try aux 5.1 4.) Customer support - customer care of the obage company is excellent , I have no words to describe the support service of the company. Initially when I get the system I am facing problem with surround sound settings in my tv , I contacted them through WhatsApp. They are very attentive to me , they called me regarding problem and instructed me to do such correct settings in my tv. There is Another problem with one of my surround speaker. it was producing a mild hissing noise along with the music , I contacted customer care one week ago again, they simply instructed me to do a test. I tasted that surround speaker , after then they called me and talked about the problem , they said that we will send you a new surround speaker within one week. It delivered today and working properly. Now the sound quality is excellent. 5.) My opinion - if you are looking for a good 5.1 system with amazing low bass. Definitely go for it, this system is value for money for this price point ( I buyed it at 11k on sale ) , if you want true surround sound experience then buy an external decoder (futech ft003 v2 or geestar 5.1 at 2.8k rs ) then the systems performance will go beyond your expectations.

Obgae CA-1 Cinematic: Truly Cinematic Indian Home theatre. I have purchased this Obage 5.1 home theatre on very first sale i.e on 15th July 2023, the reason behind the purchase is, I am in search of 5.1 home theatre system for my projector setup, and previously I have experience of obage HT 144, 2.1 speakers the quality of that is really very good so I have purchased this 5.1 obage CA-1. Now after more than one year I am writing this review. I got this system in sale pricing. And after ordering I have received it on 3rd day only. Packaging of the system is very good with double package box. Now I have done more than a year and this is my long term review. It is having lots of Connectivity like USB,AUX 1 , Aux2, HDMI ARC, Bluetooth, Optical, Radio, etc big connectivity available with this. Quality of Sound: Truly telling the quality of sound from this home theatre is really very good, bass, treble and vocals are very clear and soft pnchy bass, lower bass is very good you can feel this. Also this system have 5.1 to 2.1 conversion in touch of single key remote. That is very good option.My every morning is started with FM radio on CA-1. I am enjoying this home theatre every day, I have connected this with tv via HDMI ARC, and connected this to my projector with optical. I am getting real 5.1 audio output, but not dolby. Its PCM, lots of people don’t know about PCM output according to them PCM is having stereo output only, but this is not correct, PCM is the format of non-compressed audio. And dolby is format of compressed audio. But in PCM you will get more accurate and detail audio, different people have different thinking on this. Actually, PCM is multy channel audio format. I am getting true 5.1 audio on Netflix. Lots of people also telling that this system is not too loud, actually I think they have not checked their remote for increasing the volume of front, rear and center channel speakers individually, by default all the volume level at 50% only, means if you increase the master volume of system to 100% ie up to 32 level then also you will not get full 100% output. For full 100% volume you need to increase the volume of front, rear and center channel speaker individually to 32 then only you will get full 100% output. And on 100 % volume this system is not distorting, The voice is Kristal clear. According to price point of view this system is very good in respect of quality output. Also I have increased bass by adding secondary subwoofer SSW-1 this also very good quality and quite heavy. Don’t consider negative review here, because in market we have home theater for 10 to 10 Lakhs, but price point of view this system will give tough fight to costlier big brand’s speaker system. If you need really good 5.1 system for movies as well as music then definitely consider this and for best offer buy this in festive sale season, you will get good offer. Customer service of Obage is very good, Mr.Vipin Kumar is really a very good customer care executive, he is very responsive and obedient, just give them some time. Also if you dont know which system is suitable for you then he will also guide you. One of my satellite speaker is damaged at the end of my warrenty period but they have replaced it totally free of cost. Hope in future we will get some advanced audio system from obage like Dolby atmos system. Obage is emerging Indian audio company keep it up good work, all the best.

Note: After using the system for 2 weeks, the sub woofer had some issues, I immediately contacted Obage Customer Care, Mr. Vipin took care of everything from pick up of the faulty sub woofer to delivering me a new one. Customer care is very responsive, we need this kind of customer care now a days. I even bought an additional sub woofer which increased the bass significantly, making it 5.2 channel.

The audio is good but it’s not Dolby Atoms so you won’t get true 5.1 SURROUND SOUND experience, it’s more or less a stereo system with 5 speakers and a subwoofer. But the audio for vocals are clear you’ll enjoy watching movies and listening to songs, the bass is not overpowering, overall it’s a pleasant experience. The speakers have plastic wall mounts which are made up of pathetic quality plastic that it breaks under the speakers weight alone. After months of usage the screws of those plastic mounts started to fall out and I found out that the length of those screws is also very small. If you’re planning to buy it then replace those plastic wall mounts by ‘C’ shaped metal brackets and replace the stock screws by a little longer screws for those brackets, you can find those in your nearest hardware shop for less than ₹50 altogether.
