Travelpro Luggage Crew 11 29" Expandable Spinner Suitcase
We used Travel Pro 21" suitcases a lot and wanted a larger suitcase for vehicle or check in airline travel. We recently purchased and used the Travelpro Luggage Crew 11 29" Expandable Spinner Suitcase on two trips. One trip was air travel and one was pulling a camper. This suitcase is plenty large. In fact, maybe a bit too large for some. I have seen air carriers have weight restrictions as low as 40 lbs, while others are at 50 lbs, 60 lbs or even a bit more. After those restrictions, you pay fees for excessive weight. Check with your air carrier's limits. Knowing the weight limits in advance, we really could not fill the suit case full for our flight. The suitcase is expandable by 2". I do not think we will use the extra space, but it is there if needed. We also used this case once for large vehicle travel pulling a camper. If you own a small or compact car, this might not be the best suit case for you.The case, wheels and handles are strong, not like other brands that are flimsy and weak. The wheels roll very true and effortlessly without wobble or any issues. The construction seems sturdy and long lasting. But again, only two trips used so far. The dark Blue case with tan handles looks sharp. There is a handle on top and the side of the case as well as a lip on the bottom of the case for easy handling. The collapsable pulling / rolling handle is sturdy as well.If you are familiar with quality suitcases like Travel Pro, this one will not disappoint. The size of the suit case might not be for everyone. Most will likely be better off with a 21" or 25" suit case. If you need a larger suit case, this is it.

Travelpro Luggage Crew 11 29" Expandable Spinner Suitcase
We were looking for a suitcase which would allow us to consolidate some of the larger and more lightweight items we needed to take on our trips, as opposed to stuffing them into multiple medium-size suitcases. This one turned out to be a winner. The inside volume is amazing, a full-size suiter compartment worked out perfectly, and the suitcase itself held up extremely well through several trips, having been handled by several airlines and cruise lines. For those who are concerned about airline size limits: we checked it on JetBlue, American, Cathay and Norwegian, and none even blinked at its size. Weight limits will need to be managed closely, as it is very easy to go over 50lb when filling such a huge bag. We put on a polyester-spandex luggage cover over it, which makes it stand out at the baggage claim, while at the same time protecting the bag from rubbing against other suitcases and conveyer belts - so after all our trips, it still looks brand new. I'd have no hesitation buying another one, or recommending one to our friends and family - assuming they have similar needs for volume vs. weight.

The wheels are weak and so is customer service (and I am a Travelpro fan!)
First, know that I am a Travelpro fan, all my bags and cases are Travelpro (Crew series) but I had never bought a spinner before because I was worried about the structural integrity of the spinner wheels since they are out of the case. I bought this one and, sure enough, the back left spinner wheel broke the VERY FIRST TIME this bag was in an airplane luggage hold. This was my fear with buying my first spinner suitcase. According to the the Travelpro website I initiate the repair/replace process by sending them an email with information about the bag and myself. I did this three times over three months and never received a response. I had just about given up when their ad appeared in my Facebook feed. I wrote a critical comment to the ad (just telling my story) and they finally responded to me through Facebook. Even then their customer service was incompetent. Per their request, I DM'd them all my original information (including my email and phone number) and they responded, "Please provide us your email and phone number". Finally a customer service agent emailed me. In her email message to me was my DM information (which also included my home address), and she wrote, "Please provide your home address so we can send you the part". IT'S THERE IN THE MESSAGE YOU SENT TO ME! Anyway, supposedly they are sending me the part. But how will I replace the part? I don't know how to get through the fabric liner to access the wheel mount. I estimate I've spent about 5 hours of my life dealing with Travelpro customer service and I still have no idea whether I'll be able to replace the wheel without tearing apart the inside of the case. I will provide updates. One star since I can't even use the bag. If I can succesfully replace the wheel I will probably go with 3 stars.

Love this luggage set!
I ordered this luggage set in three sizes (29", 25", 21") for a family trip oversees. I was worried about getting "cheap" luggage as we have a Briggs and Riley set that's starting to feel it's age (20+ years); but I shouldn't have been. This set worked perfectly and I can tell this set will last for many years and trips to come! Plus, the three bags nest comfortably inside each other, making it take up less storage space when stored between trips. The smallest bag can also be used as a carry on, if wanted. Two thumbs up, way up!

An Outstanding Set of Luggage
I upgraded my luggage from the Travelpro Crew 6 to the Crew 11 line. I purchased the 21” carry on, the 25” and 29,” all with the spinner wheels. It is considerably lighter and much easier to maneuver than the Crew 6 line. I have had the Crew 6 line for over 20 years and it is still in excellent shape. The only reason I changed was because the Crew 11 is lighter and much easier to maneuver. I expect it to last me as long as the Crew 6.

Best luggage
I got a same size crew 9 a few years ago. They got the best wheel, durability is good, zipper is awesome. My family and I travel a lot internationally. We travel at least twice a year to Europe and Asia. We tried different brands of luggage. At the end of the day, we are coming back for crew 12. Luggage pro crew is so far the best luggage we have ever had. It is quite expensive, but it is worth the money if you travel a lot.
