A superb hand held mixer
An excellent hand held mixer. Light and powerful with a very efficient mixing action. Very easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Superior Quality
This is an excellent handheld mixer. It isn’t too heavy. It’s nice and quiet. The build is of superior quality, I can feel the difference between my old cheaper one. It whisks cream into lovely peaks very quickly. I’m very pleased with this mixer. It was certainly worth the money.

A Decent Buy
I’ve only used the mixer once so my comments are based on that experience. I’m an occasional baker so didn’t want to spend a fortune on a really expensive model. I also wanted a mixer that didn’t send flour and eggs all over me and the kitchen worktops when I used it, and to that end this mixer worked very well. The slowest speed is gentle enough to mix sponge cake ingredients without any splashes initially, while employing the faster speeds after a few seconds take away all the hard work of mixing by hand. The dough beaters are sturdy and although the cake mixers don’t look quite so robust they do the job well enough. They slot into the machine with a resounding ‘click’ and can be removed by pressing the eject button - easy! I can’t comment on the machine’s durability at the moment but on first impressions this seems a decent buy for the money.

Keep clothing, body parts and one armed wives away
Works perfectly. However. Please be very cautious if you only have one arm. I bought this for my wife, bless her! she has been through the wars over the last few years. After surviving her brain tumour, she had a stroke, leaving her left arm a little useless! To try and brighten her up a bit, I bought her a new cake mixer (she loves baking) this one has great power and is very lightweight. Now! how she managed to catch her vest top in it i don't know? but she did. This intern made the mixer shoot up her body gathering clothing as it shot towards her right Tit, twisting her only good arm in to a position that she couldn't reach the on/off button. Now! Because she is unable to straighten out her left arm, she couldn't reach the power socket on the wall. I heard a little cry coming from the kitchen (more like a banshee tbh) so as usual I took my time, walked to the kitchen to see what she has manged to do this time. Nothing could prepare me for what I was about to discover. There was my wife, standing in what can only be described as a cake mix explosion, both arms twisted like a T'Rex with her Right Tit out dripping in cake mix... So as a conclusion to this mixers capabilities, value for money and longevity! It will easily whisk its way through any cake mix, remove clothing and all dignity with ease for a very reasonable price...

Near silent hand mixer
It is so quiet! Bought as a replacement for an ancient hand mixer that sounded like a cement mixer. This mixer has just made an excellent fruit cake(Christmas cake but not for Christmas!) so has been put through it on its maiden mix, tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday so it’ll be making many pancakes and I’m actually looking forward to getting it out of the cupboard. Highly recommend and was at a good price too.

Bosch Clever mix
This item is brilliant, not loud or the beaters battering around the bowl but a smooth gentle mix with power. I love it. Sturdy but not heavy and chunky. Very pleased with it

Difficult to use and slow mixing
I've had a few mixers over the years for baking and this is probably the worst. I have given it 3 stars because it does mix well enough for me to make cakes and scones etc. however it is a very slow mixer that I have to use on full power at all times!. Plus, the button to release the mixing utensils is very stiff so it's hard to detach the utensils from the mixer. It works but not very well, it's certainly not an easy or friction-less mixing tool. The end results are the same, I just don't like the mixer. I don't feel I can return it because I have used for a while now so I'm stuck with it!

Off centre
1. Has an oval shaped handle which fits nicely in the hand. Very smooth, good thickness, will aid if holding the mixer for prolonged periods. 2. Nicely balanced for weight, hangs under gravity in the ready to use position. 3. Bright white in colour complimented by bright red ejection of beaters button. 4. Has 2 well defined flat surfaces moulded in the body. 1 flat surface as a base so before the beaters are inserted it sits on the worktop, handle upward , so its easy to pick up. 2 flat surface on the END of the mixer body so that once the beaters are inserted it can be stood up on the worktop, handle in the vertical position. 5 .it has a moulded side panel to help with wrapping the cable around the body when ready to store. 6. Most surfaces on the mixer body are smooth with curved transitions so that debris from cooking/ mixing does not get trapped in corners and a simple wipe will clean off dirt. 7. For a 350w mixer it feels light in the hand. Good for ladies and those elderly with poor wrists who may struggle to use a heavier machine...but want to continue baking etc. 8. The operating switches are about 30mm from the grip position. With my large thumb that presents no problem reaching them. Be aware if you have smaller hands. 9. The on off controll has 2 options. A manual M position which is sprung and immediately turns the mixer to full power but also immediately turns OFF the mixer when pressure is released. A stepped fixed speed control labelled 0 to 4. 0 zero is OFF. Then there are click positions 1,2,3,4 each one a fixed speed. It will continue to operate even if you put the mixer down on the worktop unless you click the position back to 0 zero. These are handy if you want to mix for a longer time and cannot push the M switch over for long periods ( weak thumb..old age etc). 10. This machine is light and very quiet for a 350w mixer. 11. 350 watts is more powerful than many small cheap mixers. Im expecting long life and an ability to plough through heavy mixes like doughs. PROBLEM. Plz see my video for this mixer. The right beater mixer starts to oscillate at 2 and above. Ive seen other reviews with broken beater heads. I believe this moulded beater head may become detached. I will persevere and see what happens. The left dough beater also oscillates. So it isnt the machine but rather some form of bend or twist in the beaters themselves. The eject is not very positive....it works fine at the moment...but needs a good positive, push to enable beater ejection. Bit expensive overall at £30 but looks good, feels good, not noisey

Good product and quiet

I needed to replace my old hand held mixer, because a rat chewed through the cord. I’d had it for years, and it was a good reliable hand held mixer, but this one looks like one too.

Light and oh so easy to use, quiet and doesn't get hot while in use. Its a pity an Australian 3 pin plug is not available, we are making do with an adapter, it mixes a variety of cakes with ease, very happy with the purchase.

It's super light compared to my russel hobbs, but way too weak for 400W. Very disappointed. I expected more from Bosch. I don't have any issue with the plastic material which makes the mixer look cheap, but very upset with the power. It took me ages to whip cream, and the cream didn't even get thick after more than 5 mins mixing at the maximum power :((( I have just used it once, and already think about buying a new one
