I don’t understand all of the less than stellar reviews. The lid fits easily - just align the lid to rest on top of the litter pan handles, and the rest of the cover easily falls into place. What’s more, our cat approves. She’s a kicker, and the lid is a must or the litter flies everywhere. And even with the lid, it is surprisingly roomy for her. Our cat is not a little girl, so this is especially important. She has three litter boxes to choose from, but has stopped using the others in favor of this one. May be purchasing at least one more litter genie pan and cover for her soon.

I bought this to fit the same manufacturer's litter box it was designed for. Sounded like a great idea. The problem is, it doesn't fit the box. To return it one needs to package it in the original box so hold on to the box it came in, in case you have the same problem. Even though you may not have to print the label if you drop it off at UPS to return it, Amazon requires you to return it in your own box and the lid is huge.

I was worried after reading some reviews that it didn't fit. It does and it contains any odor. I leave the door off because my kitty cat is a big girl.

This lid fits but does not click into place. My cats haven't knocked it off by getting in and out but it does feel stable.

I was skeptical when purchasing because of the reviews of the fitment. Those who are saying it doesn't fit didnt have it installed right. It took me a couple tries to get it right but it fits great and I love it.

It looks good but it doesn't fit the litter box.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to purchase this one, but I’m extremely satisfied! It’s big enough for my four cats to share and the dome is perfect height so my cats aren’t cramped- they usually hate enclosed litter boxes. I paired it with the litter box, litter mat and the litter genie, and now my cats toilet area is clean, and organized.Extremely satisfied with my purchase! I recommend that you get all 4 products
