Great for rose nursering
As described. I use these to grow roses. It takes about 30 days to grow roots. This is one of the best options because it is clean and simple to avoid any infection. Despite not having a lot of nitriention, the rose branch does not need a lot of fertilizer to grow roots, so this is a perfect fit.

Great for propagation!
This is a very good medium for propogation. It holds on to moisture while also allowing air flow to help prevent rot. I highly recommend this. The larger size and "hard" grain is preferred over the smaller "soft" grain.

Holds its hardiness well.
Great quality aladama soil. It holds its hardiness and does not have too much dust. The size was accurate to the description.

The price was the allure ...
Sadly, this 10# bag is going to require some sifting as there is *way* too much that's far closer to sand/dust than 1/8". Was hoping for a bargain, but alas... the old adage, "you get what you pay for," applies, yet again. All the same, at first blush I'll give it 4 stars for the price, but may revise downward if it's as soft as I fear is may be. Definitely not the hardest / densest acadama I've ever encountered, but too soon as of today (just delivered this morning)

Would buy again.
What can I say, great bag of rocks! Used to amend succulent soil mix. Also as top dressing. Helps prevent root rot. Aerates the planting substrate. Size of acadama is perfect.

Very little dust and quite uniformly sized pieces.
I am very pleased with this Akadama.
