I was surprised with the out come I highly recommend no smell like I read in views little flume but my hair came out great it reminded me of Curl Free that I use back in the 70's which is discontinued will buy again cheaper then keratin treatments with same results I can wear my hair curly or straight. Yes it time consuming but worth it

I had the opportunity to try this product on my curly hair (3C curls, spirals, and waves). I was prepared to take the time that other reviewers mentioned would be needed to go through the entire process. It took me about 3.5 hours and I have hair that goes past my shoulders when curly and to my chest when straightened. The process is long and I followed it diligently which I think is key to getting the desired results. I even went through small sections of my hair with a straightener for a minimum of 8 passes. It was tedious and I was still skeptical about the results. And since you don't know how the hair will turn out after putting in all the time and effort it felt like a bit of a gamble. As the last step, I washed my hair and put conditioner on it and could immediately feel that the texture of my hair changed. Usually when wet, my hair still has curl - they're elongated but still there. After using the product, going through the process, my hair when wet was straight. I let it air dry because at this point I didn't have it in me to blow dry my hair after 3.5 hours. And WOW - it was slightly wavy but mostly straight - definitely would be easy to have blow dried my hair straight with the results that I got. I've had the Brazilian Blowout done professionally and the results with the DIY kit were nearly the same. I say "nearly" only because I could see the benefit of having someone else help with doing this as the back of the hair can be tough to make sure you've gotten enough product on it and you've properly passed through it with a straightener. I'm really happy with the results and when I air dry it looks like my hair has natural beach waves (which is what I remember when I got it professionally done). It takes a bit of time and effort, but is worth it if you want to avoid spending $$$ at the salon. As others have mentioned, when you straighten with the product there is smoke and a smell. I didn't notice the smell until I was closeer to my face, but saw the smoke during every pass. Do this in a well ventilated area.

My obsession with keratin began years ago when I was living in Korea and came across a keratin serum that transformed my hair, but this is the first time Ive done this kind of treatment. Decided to go for it so I could air dry my wavy hair without having to smooth out the kinks with heat every day - Id definitely say I achieved that with this product, and the added shine and silkiness this gave my hair is crazy. You REALLY want to make sure you take your time, blow dry the product completely (this does take some time!) and then straighten in small sections. The more time you give this process, the better your results will be. I did the minimum amount of passes the instructions said as I didn’t want stick straight. Love, love, love.

I've had professional straightening done before but didn't want to spend all that money, so gave this a try. Much better smelling than the professional one. It did make my head and neck tingle\sting when I first applied the mask (like the pro one did). This lessens after a while. I had dyed my hair right before and it seems to have stripped out or lightened that in my before and after pics. I could feel the difference between the final wash was done, so silky and much easier to brush. It's hard work doing all that straightening with the iron, it produces quite a bit of smoke as it burns off your hair, try use in ventilated area. Will have to see if it can hold out with the Texas humidity, but for the price very pleased

It works pretty well and the entire process takes about 4 hours. The only thing is I have really thick and long hair so next time I get it i'll buy 2 because it didn't fully cover all of my hair. It lasted the 12 weeks and still has some slight affects in my hair afterwards so I do like its longevity. I mainly got it because no matter what I do or what product I buy my hair is frizzy, but this kills the frizz and its amazing for that. It also stains clothes like bleach does so be careful with what you wear when you use it.

Okay I’m rewriting my entire review after about 5 days of having the treatment. 1- it will strip any dye out AND lighten your hair and slightly bleach any towel you use in the process. (Small price to pay, trust) 2- if you have CURLS (not waves, be realistic here) it will not leave your hair air drying perfectly straight. It more than likely will be wavy. I only did 2-3 passes during the straightening part of the process. I have thin strands of hair and didn’t want to fry it off (it says to do 8 passes but adjust for your hair, it even says to on the instructions). I actually love the waves when it’s air dried. In the video with waves, there’s NO styling product (like what?!) it’s so manageable with so much less frizz and it’s actually soft with no product in! I thought this treatment was basically going to strip my hair of its curls to where it air dried stick straight so I had given it 3 stars when I first did the treatment. Just the softness and manageability of my hair now deserves 5 stars. I DEFINITELY will be doing this treatment again in the future. 3- you can dye your hair again without ruining the treatment. I dyed mine back to the color it was with garnier nutrisse ultra crème black box dye 3 days after the treatment and it doesn’t seem to have affected the treatment. 4- If you have some damaged ends you’re worried about, just trim a small amount then do the treatment. I only trimmed .5” when I should have done more and you can’t tell that my ends were even damaged. 5-it did take around 3-4 hours total. I think carefully brushing excess product out with a fine tooth comb before blow drying/straightening helped shorten the time along with fewer passes while straightening. I also only needed one box. Even though my hair is long, my hair is not as thick as it looks when curly. People aren’t exaggerating on the good reviews. I did take the time to comb out the excess product with a fine tooth comb before straightening and then didn’t put the flat iron very high (390). It really didn’t have a bad smell and my hair smells okay after straightening it unlike before. Before, it would have a burnt smell. I spritz some perfume in the air, flip my hair through it, and it smells amazing all day! A lot of people say my curly hair is pretty but they aren’t the ones that had to deal with the rats nest at the end of the day. I now know how to deal with the Texas humidity when I go back! One picture is my natural hair, the video is of it air drying (wavy) and then the morning after sleeping on it straightened. To be able to actually brush my hair is amazing! When I brushed my hair with it straight before, it would still get puffy. This product was a life (and hair) saver!

Honestly wasn’t expecting much because my hair is very curly and gets very frizzy. I usually get a keratin treatment once a year and after tip spend about $250. Times are tough right now and definitely can’t afford that but didn’t want to deal with the frizz any longer. Decided to take a chance with this because I figured worse case I’d have to use a clarifying shampoo a few times to wash it out if it looked awful. After a clumsy start applying the straightening lotion (spilled some of the product in the sink) and forgot to put a towel around the back of my neck to keep the product off my neck I finally applied it and followed with blow drying and flat ironing, waited about 10 minutes after flat ironing and then shampooed and conditioned with the included shampoo and conditioner and I can’t believe how soft shiny and straight my hair is. I was panicking because after the blow drying my hair felt and looked pretty awful. Flat ironing it made it look a little better but still felt disgusting and I was in full on panic mode at that point. After the shampoo and conditioner though it’s gorgeous! It’s time consuming so give yourself at least 4 or more hours but worth it. The true test will be while I’m ironing laundry, if my hair doesn’t frizz then I’ll definitely buy this again.

Overall this is very easy to use. I think it’s safe and effective and very affordable considering how much this treatment costs in a salon. Things to know listed below: time, smell, smoke, and results. 1. This does take about 4 hours total (depending on hair type could vary) you want to really take your time and work the product into your hair well and blow dry the product in your hair thoroughly because that will make all the difference. 2. Ventilation is recommended. The smoke during blow drying can be overwhelming if not in a properly ventilated area. 3. The smell is not great but not terrible. If you have had this treatment before you know the smell I’m talking about, kind of gassy and sulfuric. I noticed it smelled much stronger after the 2nd wash, but nothing hair oil or product can’t mask. 4. My hair was very shiny and straight initially after the first round. I noticed a significant difference when I ran the flat iron through after blow drying, it was pin straight. 5. When I let my hair air dry after a few washes, it dried straight at the roots to wavy mids-ends. However, it dries straight and voluminous with just using the blow dryer and not sectioning or round brush drying.
