I bought this for work, I work in a restaurant and we make a fair amount of coffees.I was very impressed with the quality, it's very well made, easy to use and fits in the standard inserts for the espresso machine.I'd definitely recommend for professional use or at home, it has a very stylish design so it's perfect to have on display

I wanted a better tamper than the one that came with my Sage Barista Express. I looked at many and decided this style with the adjustable spring loader would be best.This tamper works perfectly in the Sage Barista Express portafilter basket and once you've adjusted it provides a solid and consistent tamp, it really does make a difference to your coffee over the one provided with my machine.The only downside of this product is that you can get your skin caught between the the handle and the actual tamper if you adjust slightly wrong, and let me tell you, you won't want to do it more than once!!

The Sage Bambino baskets have a small taper in them, and this will hit the taper.However.If you put the correct amount of coffee in the basket, it should still work perfectly fine.If you're someone who eyeballs it, and doesn't measure specifically, you'll need to ensure you're well above the taper to use this with the Bambino baskets.

The spring action on thos makes it the best one Ive owned.

I was looking for a god calibrated tamper and this fit the bill nicely. Came quickly, and was exactly as pictured and described. Using it has definitely made my espressos more consistent in flavour, as the calibrated tamper delivers just the right pressure. It's a bit overpriced for what it is, but if you afford one I'd definitely recommend

If you find it difficult getting your espresso equal all the way around then this product is for you. Works great and it’s a good quality product.

The one I received does not work. The central screw is way too short for the spring to work as it should. The scale is not visible (as the handle has to be screwed right down to the hilt to keep it all together). As you unscrew it he whole thing falls apart before the scale becomes visible and the spring starts to work. If the central screw was longer it might work as it is supposed to do - but at the moment it is just a static tamper. I will be returning it for a refund

A nice simple sturdy spring loaded espresso press, the simple press has an ergonomic handle making it easy to grip and hold comfortably to press down your grinded coffee this allows you to get a smooth and even surface to pour your espresso shot. The press is very easy to clean and is very low maintenance, I can definitely recommend it.
