Had a miss in my engine and my check engine light came on. Connected a code reader and it indicated a cylinder 4 misfire. I don't usually work on these new cars because you can't even see the sparkplug. I'm a do it yourself old school mechanic. Had to look at youtube to figure out where the sparkplugs were and how to change them. Looked around the local auto stores and found desertcart was the best price by at least 50%. Bought the coil and also went to a local auto parts and bought one spark plug. Amazing, it took about 20 minutes ro replace both and most of the time was spent finding the correct tools. I think the offending part was a sparkplug but just to be safe I also changed the coil. Started the car and no more miss. Connected my code reader which I also bought at desertcart and cleared the check engine light. Normally I would have changed the coil and sparkplug in all cylinders but this is my spare car. Wonder how much I saved in mechanic's fees? Amazon says this Denso coil is a fit for all three of those. **Q: Are these for the vvt engine or without the vvt engine ?** A: I put them on my vvt Lexus engine. It runs like new now. Make sure and replace your spark plugs as well, as they fail along with the coils. And replace all the coils as they are notorious for failing one after the other. **Q: So does the term oe identical mean that its not really oem and it just looks like a oem denso coil or is this coil really a oem part?** A: I have a 04 Toyota sienna 3.3, the original ignition coil I pulled out of it is Toyota Diamond 90080-19025 **Q: Its the same for toyota 2001 van sienna?** A: Not sure. cause I used these coils for lexus rx300 2002 which is made by toyota and Sienna is also made by toyota so it is very possible that both cars use same parts.
