Handy to keep around for repairs
This is a nice assortment of thermal fuses at a reasonable price to keep around for small appliance repairs (space heaters, hair dryers, etc). Be sure to install these with crimps or rather than solder due to the high temperature environment they are used in.

A very good set of fuses.
I like DIY. I just figured out that you can fix some broken kitchen appliances by just replacing the thermal fuse. Buying individual fuse is expensive. So, I found and bought this set. So, far I have fixed a couple of rice cookers.

Great Assortment, about every temp you could ever need for most appliances & devices. I just used one the other day to repair a VW GTI fan motor resistor block, when the blower motor starts to go bad it taxes the resistors that control all the speeds except high, the resistors heat up causing this fuse to open (blow out) which causes blower to only work on high. Fix? 1- Replace blower motor. 2- Replace the thermal fuse (with 216°C) at the end of the resistor block to repair instead of replace the resistor block.

Complete repair set minus the crimp connectors
They work. If you want something to have a safety disconnect granting protection from overheating, this could be your ticket! Assuming that your voltage and amperage requirements are within the listed spec for the fuse, that is. I simply used these for my coffee maker but figured: why not have spares for other projects/appliances. Buy crimp sleeves to make connections. Do NOT try to SOLDER these HEAT SENSITIVE FUSES!
